Looks great Rap, 

Although I find it much more attractive with light brown patches... If it is historically like this, go for it...? your proposal looks great.

 

 

For me, it is not a problem to make a bottom layer with "light brown color balance", and drill a few transparent patches at top layer - at fuselage and wings...

Anyway I like to chose myself shape and size of patches    (my I get a PM link to your proposal with "swastika", I am not using HSD)

To be fair, the colours on this model are not particularly 'historical'. I don't MIND putting some brown on at all, but while I was going through it I did ask myself, "Why would there be brown on?" as it wasn't particularly in the schemes in Russia...

Anyway, I'll give it a bit and see where we get.

ERLA Haube = YES

Weathered = Of COURSE!!

Type of Swastika = The swastikas on these machines were normally just the outer Weisse in 1945, without the black inner as far as I'm aware. Is this what you mean?

As always, a fantastic job, well done and beautiful skin?

 

 

I know that on this particular ac the swastika was a white outline.

 

Those photos you sent are perfect, #1 and #2 is what i have meant.

 

I was corresponding to the space between the swas (space between inner outlines), most noticable when these are black with a white outline. If you look at the photos i have sent, these swas on the tail are wider (space between inner outlines) but in all they are smaller. ( more cramped)

 

On forums there are swas that don t fit to the 109, cause these are too large in lenght and too slim.

 

I hope you understand what i mean, and Det has put the right one on the 109s, regarding width and length
