@US93_Larner  continues to extend the longest streak at the Western Front in a virtual life against live players, which currently stands at 135!

@US28_Baer extends the second longest streak of pilot vs. pilot scores in a virtual life over the FC Western Front to 59!

Zatch has a current streak of 33, beginning in the previous tour.  He is 7 away from his next medal, having already been awarded his DSO in May of 2020.  Thanks for trying to help.

Cheers guys and a huge thank you to J5 for running Flugpark and maintaining these awards. Talb, the Haka was inspired, thanks.

 

I know it's just a computer sim, but somehow the weight of getting across the line turned into very real anxiety. I usually get to fly online once a week and knew my average was 2 victories per week, so when i realised it was on, the calculation quickly became about how many weeks i had to stay alive. It seemed way too many!

 

Of course our 3rd PG tactics and teamwork are the only reason I could manage it. I know that, and I'm very grateful to them for all the cleared 6s, drags and warnings. But with all the tactics in the world there are still so many ways to die and you need luck up there too. There grew big fears of AAA especially the friendly kind, wings breaking off downed EA, collisions and even friendly fire. There's just no way to avoid all danger and I did get shot up badly a couple of times and had an awful collision with Klug's D7 after one bounce but, somehow, still made it back each time.

 

A big shoutout and Salute to all the pilots who take the time to fly on Flugpark, especially the Thursday crowd i get to see more often.

Despite the flaws in the Sim, which i know we ( and I) do harp on about, I find there are far more positives than negatives and surely, it can only get better from here.?
