Couple of small updates:
- Now ditching at friendly tank spawns should not result in "landed" status in statistics.

- CP bonus is no longer a direct increase in advanced kilometers, but a multiplier to the advance. The maximum bonus is 50%.

For example:

If side A has held the CP for 50% of the mission time, while side B has held it 0% of the mission, resulting in a CP bonus of 25% for the side A.

Side A has advance of 50km, and with the bonus 62,5km. The bonus also works against the advancing side if the opposing side has controlled the CP longer.

How does this happen?  I "killed" this KV1 at the 20 minute/31 second mark.  The AI Zis-2 AT got a hold of me a few seconds later and I was destroyed.  Somehow the KV gets credit for the kill after only .03% of damage?  How does this work?

There is too many bad information on the server since last patch . 

Too many strange occurrences going on . 

Don't take your stats too serious and well just enjoy Tank Crew . 

The server suffers from some sort of delay with lots of lagg around smoke and dogfights and if tanks are below it gets laggy . 

I have bailed from tank all in tact yet dead on stats . 

Hit Enemy GaZ-AAA and its friendly fire . ? 

Fly air-start mission ends and I'm dead in stats  . 

One hit from T34 and dead . 

Stuck in grass . Hit sand bank and I'm damaged . 

Lots of problems at the moment . But maybe not server fault but game Fault . !!!?

Just enjoy the server play as team Which Axis is doing , lots for good CAS and tank movements  .

I posted on Discord but I believe it was lost in other discussion (if it was seen and dismissed, excuse my spam.) I feel like the Yak 9T should be available earlier, as it is suicide in it's current plane set. It's a very poor fighter and only has a somewhat decent top speed, which is outpaced by the next plane set IIRC.  It's a somewhat decent escort/ground attack plane for front line work but more importantly (for myself) it's just a blast to fly and shoot trucks and slow 110s with.  It seemed like several folks agreed with me in discord, just hoping the request gets looked at, even if it doesn't happen.

Hi Finnish devs, I believe you have made a mistake placing the IL2 43 in planeset 9. The 110 G2 is in planeset 6 and while that is a fair early planeset for the 110, it is unfair for the IL2 43 to come so late. I believe after flying both for a long time they deserve to come in at the same planeset like it was previously. I believe the best course of action is to either put the IL2 43 in planeset 6 or put both in planeset 7.

I agree with this and also think the 110g2 and 43 should come in set 6. Also I would love it if the 1942 version could stay all sets as I sometimes want the extra rockets more than the better gunner and armor 😁

I was wondering if they put static aircraft on the field where we spawn in would help at least knowing if we have the invisible plane bug or not. That way we don't fly around for an hr. only too get shot down by an enemy we don't see or worse run into a team mate that you don't see.

Statics come with the mission, so I very much doubt that the invisible planes bug affects them. You can see ground targets fine if you have the bug.

Is there a way to see the static target layout before I’m over them at 6k meters?  Not a server specific question but hoping somebody can point me to a way to see it so I can put the bombs in the right spot.

Strange issue:

 

Flying with my wing leader, both 110.

Attacking ships.

And the suddenly and without warning my game crashed.

Freezing screen, sound freezing and less than 2 seconds later crash to desktop.

No warning about connection problems or low ping before.

 

This kind of problem is absolutely new to me,

now happened 3 times within my last 6 sorties.

The first 2 times before I could drop my bombs but really close to the ships.

The last time after flying the second run and dropping the second bomb.

 

For the last mission I had a fresh rebooted system and didn't play anything else than the mission that crashed my game.

So I can exclude having programs or other tasks open except IL2, TrackIr, TS3, my sound system (Voicemeeter) and my joystick system (Logitech G940).

 

I never had those problems in the past.

 

And the most annoying and frustrating part is:

Short time after my game was gone (and my wing leader was on his own)

and every time my game crashed

he got company by enemies and was shot down

what might have had a different result with me being still in the game...

 

Any ideas what could make my game crash on that server (because I never had crashes on other servers)?

 

My system:

i7 4770 (3.4 GHz)

16 GB Ram

Game and Win10 installed on SSD

nVidia GTX 1070 (8 GB)

Should be there, so it's a bug in the template for the Elephant. Which modification is the HE?

Enter the server, exit the game, open the mission (located in <game folder>/data/Multiplayer/Moscowwb/) in the editor :)

There was the "No position data on server from user: JG4_Deciman (Bf 110 G-2)" in the chat just before you were booted off. This is due to connection problems / packet loss. We cannot control this, it was introduced with some patch about a year ago. The game became much more sensitive to connection issues.

hi guys hi gang hi team,

 

Quick question, when attacking a target such as a rear depot, does damage done to buildings etc count towards the % destruction of the target, even if those buildings are not actually destroyed?

If a "sub block" of a block (which can consist of multiple buildings) is destroyed, then yes, it is counted.

There are 4 lines I believe in loadout.  Aphe.  Apcr.  He.   Reverse gun mantlet (cosmetic only )    the last 2. Show locked for elefant

Yeah.  I'm just saying that it happens.  I don't know why.  What I do know is that if I am on Discord and Finnish, the server will kick, me then I'll lose Discord, then I'll lose internet from a hard router reset at home.  The other funny thing is that if I don't close Discord, the internet won't come back online until I do.  

Maybe it's Discord but, it doesn't happen any other time except for being on Finnish. 

 

So far, I've been fortunate enough to have never been in combat when the disco happens...  so I guess I have some good luck.  😄

Yesterday in evening was amazing lags, FPS down from 72 to 5-6.

About 60-65 pilots was on server at this moment.

I'm going to poke a bear here but hey :)

Just finished mission (as the server changed it after 5 hours). 1 minute prior to change <s said that there will be change of 0.6km for axis in sector2. I have even bombed few more targets within remaining time. Stayed on the server for another mission and briefing said - allied pushed axis 8.6km.

To be honest it's not first time when i can see something like that - and i could understand small change when someone also bombed some targets in last couple of minutes on the other side. But almost 10km of a difference?

 

Not saying it's wrong (as obviously we cannot see things happening behind the scene) - but looks kinda odd.

That was Friday around 23:45 BST (GMT+1)

Just to stress it again - i'm not saying it's wrong. There might be someone bombing depots etc. and it could be calculated after <s was requested.

 

Also - when server came back to life yesterday - not sure what i expected, but definitely not a shift of 55km for a front line :)

Not something you see everyday!

And I'm saying, that there very much can be something wrong :) ... That's why I always appreciate bug reports. But let's see.

- Last <s command happened at 2:21 (local) and it reported "Axis projected advance: 4.6km" for sector #1 and "Allied projected advance: 8.5km" for sector #2.
- Mission rotated at 2:25, so 4min later. And the calculation resulted in 8405m for the axis on sector #1, and 12716m for the allies in sector #2. ... So there is quite a big discrepancy, although not impossible result from player action at the last moments in the mission.

 

But, anyway, the code for the <s command, and the actual calculation is basically copy-paste, but still separate, a thing I have had a long time on the TODO list to rectify. I'll refactor it now (so the code exists just once, and both use-cases use the same code) so there shouldn't be any difference.

 

EDIT:

Oh boy... yes there was some pretty significant differences in code :) ... Well, they'll be fixed by tomorrow.
