It’s not possible to land on closed airfield.

 

This will certainly change things. Gonna be harder to bring damaged planes home if they have to fly further behind friendly lines to get to an open airfield.

To be honest the Hs129 piece of crap(i like it but not very efficient) could be used from the first mission, its slow as "d"uck and not the best attacker tho.

We're trying to make it somehow historical so that is why HS129 is from 5 map and we have no FW190A5. Our original planeset (which includes all planes also these in BOK) contains 9/10 maps but since we dont have all planes (yet) we are forced to use 7 maps. FW190A5 is available since 8th map.

Hey guys,

 

I started flying TAW today. I have changed my squadtag via IL-2's account management from 1CAG_ to 2./JG51_ on August 28th in anticipation of TAW, and since then reapplied that change 3 times. It worked fine on the forums. But on TAW, I am still registered as 1CAG_Fenris_Wolf. Now I flew a combat sortie, and it registered as 1CAG_Fenris_Wolf... 

 

 

What can I do? Can you change that name and/or merge my account stats with my actual registration? 2./JG51_Fenris_Wolf is the proper nickname.

If you register an account then you can edit pilot name in Pilot profile after login.

I now registered a second time, using another E-Mail. As 1CAG_Fenris_Wolf, to grab that name - I have already flown a sortie.  

 

Will try to change that to 2./JG51_Fenris_Wolf later. However, I will have to wait for the IL-2 support to fix my actual IL-2 account, which is bugged, its squadtag is 1CAG_ when it should be 2./JG51_

Just tried joining the server and went to fly the P-40.  As soon as I get in the AC it flashes up I'm not able to fly the P-40 and should leave the AC.

 

I don't have any other planes I can fly.  Any suggestions?

Land at the AF you're resupplying. Come to a complete stop, i think you have to open 'bomb doors'? 'N' is default key. Then press your 'bomb drop' button to start unloading cargo. You should get a message when it's complete. Then you can finish flight.

I would assume because it's probably matched up with the P-39 in BOK, and since that aircraft will not be released any time soon, the 190A5 will also not be available.

 

The same thing occurred last round with the 109G4, it only became available when the Spitfire was released, if memory serves.

No need to unload cargo. I doubt there is such event in a log files.

This account is locked. Your unlocked account is MADOV. Register and change name in those accounts.

Aha, thank you for that tip. I now have 57.GIAP_MADOV as my name within Steam and the TAW account but yes I see that I have made two different accounts. Could you please delete the MADOV account and unlock the 57.GIAP_MADOV account?

You can rename old account to "placeholder1234" to free your name, then change the name on the new account to what you want.

 

Makes it easier for the admins, and is faster.

2. Log in

3. Pilot profile (top-right corner)

4. Change username

5. Apply changes

Looked like you broke off and I shot at the stuka (Did far more to it than you clearly) you then passed in front and took some accidental in flight rounds as you baby raged to try and kill it.

I apologised at the time, even though you caused the accident by passing infront of fire, and now I retract it for this whining childish response.

Could it be made mandatory to use the runways for take off?

 

In one sortie I was taxiing to the runway when I was run over by someone in thier take off run.

 

Result was a "ditched" aircraft, pretty big penalty for something that was not my fault. I had checked all around me before moving and the offending pilot was still in the 'parking' area.

I'm fairly sure you dont start off with a P40 I think everyone starts with 2x I-16s 2x Il-2 (1941) 2x PE-2 and 1 PE Transport

= LG = Kathon good afternoon, I had a very interesting and productive flight last night (09/01/2017 23:21:37 Moscow_North # 8 Landed). I destroyed the train and returned home from the task, my shooter Vasily still managed to shoot down two Messers. As intelligence reported later, these were the best pilots of the squadron, pilots paulshow2 and his leading = LG = Kathon. They certainly inflicted damage on my plane, firing randomly on it)), but I managed to bring the car to the aerodrome and successfully planted it. But some scoundrel, reported to the higher command the wrong information and my combat flight with the destruction of the enemy echelon was not written to me in the flight book, and also the shooting down of two German aces. And after this relegation, I was also lowered in rank. From the lieutenant, to the junior lieutenant. Meeting him, I would kill a scoundrel)).

I agree on the requirement of using the taxiway. I had a friend of mine ran over by a stuka yesterday and he lost his plane. This kind of attitude should be left for servers like WoL, not here ...

I have an issue, when i spawn in i get the message that my account is locked, and i get kicked after 30 seconds. This have something to do with my name, as it happened when i added the =FEW= tag to my il 2 profile, if i remove it i can fly fine but nothing i do get tracked on the website. On the website i have to names one =FEW=Glogta and one just Glogta, on =FEW=Glogta it say Locked and on just Glogta it say unlocked.

Rename the =FEW=Glogta nickname to something else and rename Glotga to the name u wish to use in the campaign (this name must match ur il2 account). Thats it!
