WINGS OF ITALY team presents the new TEAM MISSIONS on the Bos ITALIANWING Server
Missions are organized on Wednesday - 09.15 pm.

NEW MISSION!:   Mercoledì 10 Giugno si ritorna a bombardare l'Inghilterra.
Server BOS ITALIANWING   pass: ...   H 21.30  (SI PREGA LA PUNTUALITA')   BRIEFING H 21.10. (UPDATED)

Contesto Storico:

Pilots and Gentlemen,
NEW MISSION!:  on Wednesday 10 June the Bombing Run over England returns.
BOS Server ITALIANWING pass: ... H 21.30 (PLEASE PUNCTUALITY) BRIEFING H 21.10. (UPDATED).

Historical context:
The first part of the Battle of England ended with the Axis waiving the "Operation Leone Marino".
Nevertheless, the Luftwaffe maintains constant pressure on the British objectives, in particular Convoys, Ports and Industrial Production.
British Islands are besieged by submarines and planes in an attempt to weaken the British willpower and induce them to ask for a truce.
From January to May 1941 terrorist attacks on cities also increased, in particular on London, which was put on fire.

MISSIONS:
Direct attack on the objectives  on English soil. The region interested is Kent.
The British "understand" from the routes of German bomber formations they see on the "Chain Home" radars, what objectives are possible ...
Having a convoy just arrived, Dover is the most probable target, but other objectives, factories and airports are possibilities ...
Details, at Briefing.

CAMPAIGN SCOPE
Germans will have 4 objectives per mission at least. Only one  will be "Strategic" as "Mission Scope" assigned by the German Command, the others are only used to accumulate points.
In Vittoria's conditions, given by the points of course, there is also the achievement of the "Strategic Objective", different from mission to mission.
So the attackers will have to concentrate well ... and not go around hitting random targets.
British do not know the Strategic target, they will have to understand it from the Luftwaffe's behavior.

Also British Pilots will have their Scope of Mission.  salute.png.88904b424cc4abf981fff4c31f0911e8.png

REGOLE DI BATTAGLIAspandau.gif.d66b5d692de1886fb63b6435cb77674c.gif

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

BATTLE RULESspandau.gif.d66b5d692de1886fb63b6435cb77674c.gif

To increase the realism and the immersion of the simulation, some rules of behavior are established.  Players will have to observe "on their Honor" :

Rule 1:     At Briefing, based on attendance and opportunities, 2 Commanders are appointed by the Organizers, 1 for each Side, who in their judgment will dispose of the forces assigned to them.

Rule 2:     The Mission will start on a signal given by the Organizers, once the status of the two Teams has been verified.

Rule 3:      In case of death or capture, the Player involved will be able to restart but will be considered a "Reinforcement", therefore subject to an aircraft preparation time that, at the moment, we set in X (5) Minutes (managed automatically by the Mission).

Rule 4:     The restart of the Player (due to death, capture or delay with respect to the first start, but also after the return from the mission) is subject to the authorization of the Commander of the Team to which he belongs, who decides how and when to place the Reserves.

Rule 5:     Although not binding and subject to the evaluation of the Mission Commander, the Player should avoid starting again on his own, but always find a formation (even minimal, 2 planes) to join.

Therefore he will have to wait for the departure at least a teammate, in order to form  the minimum formation allowed, that is the PAIR.

Rule 6:    Although Team Commanders enjoy maximum decision-making autonomy on the development of the Mission, the Organizers reserve the right to intervene, even during the game, in the event of problems, disputes or misunderstandings.

Rule 7:    Behaviors characterized by a lack of sportiness, education and mutual respect will be sanctioned with the suspension of the players involved, at the discretion of the Organizers.

Firing unarmed Pilots and Airplanes in  Emergency landing is considered  unsportsmanlike and subject to sanctions.

Rule 8:    The Players accept, with their participation, these Rules and the unquestionable judgment of the Organizers.

Rule 9:   Organizers are those belonging to the Production responsible for the preparation and management of these Missions, ie "Wings of Italy".

Keep in account that, so far,  we need RED (British) Pilots.

On the other side it's true that British were " Few" 😃

Hello

It's too just for us this Wednesday. We have already an event the Wednesday. But from next Wednesday we will be there. I’m launching a roster right now to find out how many we’ll be next week.

Do you have the planeset for german Bomber ? Are the planes limited ?

Hi Simpel.
Great to see IRRE here again. salute.png.88904b424cc4abf981fff4c31f0911e8.png
For the moment, (but could vary) limitation is only in Type and Weapon (Skins Historical only).
at disposal:

Axis
Bf-109 E7 , Bf-109 F2, MC-202, Me-110 , Ju-87 Stuka and He-111.

Allied:
Spit 5, P-40 (Canadian 400°Sqn) and Yak-1 (simulating (we dont have other🙄)  Morane Saulnier of "Alsazia Group", flying with RAF) to allow Pilots,  without Collector Planes, fly British...

Awaiting Hurricane, of course  😄

D.520 were never used during the Battle of Britain.

French pilots of the FAFL flew British planes under British command and using the English language.

The group was formed in 1941 and was serving in North Africa over Lybia and used Hawker Hurricanes fighter planes and certainly not D.520.

So just saying Yak-1 does not make any sense whatsoever.

More Spitfires will do just fine.

Hauggyyyyyyyyyy, my friend how are you?😄

Yes , you are right, but with a limited planeset presented by BOS in 1941 for the Western Front , best I found is to "Fiction" that  the Free French Groupe da Chasse "Alsace" which flied in Rayak in 1941, for some reason was retired in Great Britain and posizioned on Kent ( which actually happened when the Spitfires were given under Commander René Mouchotte).
Here the Skin of French /British Morane Saulnier MS.406

😄😄Ah Ah ,

Sure they didn't have,

Anyway we are waiting Hurricane...

If you have Spit 5, you can use it. YaK1 (Morane) is only a "reserve" for those pilots which dont have Collector Planes.... 😄

Very easy Klingon:   DEFEND FROM GERMAN BOMBING RUN if you fly British. British have the "Chain Home" and can see the Huns arrive.  The Duty is splash down their Bombers... The Wing Commander EAF51_Cappe will lead your movements.
