I always had a soft spot for the stegosaurus since making one at school from wire frame and plaster of paris when I was about 8 years old (not the one in the photo ? )

My favorite is the VelociReagan. Or reagan on a velociraptor. LOL it must be true since a Congressman used the picture!  (True artists rendition of Reagan singlehandedly winning the Cold War according to GOP 'scholars' on 4chan)

I have but one regret.. And that is theres no dino in a La5 FN pic.

Oh and I regret not having some nice bodenplatte and kuban toys or even kuban, then again Im fairly new to the Il2BoX and this community has already been *fantastic* special shoutout to @spartan85 for his generosity man seriously. And you have my word btw Ill pay it fwd spartan

As a child I loved dinosaurs - and since my sons do now as well I start to remember why ^^

 

My personal favorite as a child was Deinonychus:

Already back then I felt the monsters I loved to watch in the Jurassic Park movies had more in common with my Deinonychi than Velociraptors who I imaniged a lot smaller...

 

As I recently read that Micheal Crichton actually was inspired by these animals and just thought that Velociraptor was more sexy as a name I now understand why.

 

So thank you Big Al for this great Oportunity to tell the world once more: Deinonychus is the true Star of Jurrassic Park!

Loved putting those guys in the T. rex and Deinosuchus enclosure in Zoo Tycoon 2. I’m not sure that they coexisted so peacefully in real life, though

Today is the day!

 

No costs and efforts were spared. With pride we can present the finds of our 2nd expedition. A few thick chunks were pulled ashore. But let them surprise themselves!

 

As promised, my little Giveaway starts now. I tried to find some nice things that could be interesting for everyone, especially for people who didn´t owned it yet. If it were up to me, I would have got some more but unfortunately my money is limited. Personally I don't know when the next Giveaway will be. Either sometime in the Summer or at the latest in the Winter. Nevertheless I wish all the participants a lot of fun and success!

 

It starts after this post. There will be 3 stages spread over the day.  So I hope to give people from different timezones the chance to participate. Don´t forget to write your favourite prehistoric animal or quote yourself (when you already posted your favourite Dino).

my favourite Dinosaur is the Sinornithosaurus, because look at those posh legs.

Edit: a friend of mine showed me this post because he wants to get me to play IL 2 with him, and tries me to lure me into this since forever. but i am a poor student so i never got around to do it. just if one wonders why i am only a 1 post guy. so he thought, maybe i should try my luck too and become a new member of this, as he tells me, very small but dedicated community. If i have a chance to win something, he thought the battle over moskow campaign would suit me best, for my love of the bf 110. but even if i not win, i need to spread the love for feathered dinosaurs:
