This is another important point:

That we should consider and it would make things very interesting in the late stages of the campaign.

 

Sorry I didn't respond to this sooner - I'd meant to and it just slipped my mind.  Both the fuels they are talking about in the memo are both what we consider "150 octane" in the game and allowed the higher boost settings.  100/150 refers to a fuel with a lean mixture knock index of 100 and rich mixture knock index of 150.  The standard fuel prior to this for both the RAF and USAAF in England was 100/130, which for whatever reason was referred to as "100 octane" generally.  There were slight differences in the additives of the two versions of 150 which resulted in some varying maintenance headaches.  The original 150 octane fuel (the same stuff the British used exclusively) caused problems with spark plug fouling, particularly when being run at low power settings or at idle - pilots could "clear the plugs" with bursts of power, and they had to be replaced regularly, which was a headache for maintenance personnel.  The "PEP" fuel was formulated slightly differently and eliminated the plug fouling problems, but ultimately introduced a much larger problem as it was wearing out valve seats and ultimately resulting in engines that needed valve adjustments every few missions - way more work then just swapping out spark plugs.  And so ultimately the 8th AF reverted back to the earlier formulation of 150 octane.

 

It might be worthwhile to start a whole new thread just focused on compiling the who/where/when for Bodenplatte aircraft.

Kills Respectively.

That should have been a Blue loss of 33 tanks, Yet the next mission shows a loss of tanks less than 20[17 to be exact]?

3 buldings depot are 1 tank destroyed 3:1 ratio. as I understand so it is 3.66 tanks destroyed by buldings destruction

Сегодня за два вылета на немецкий аэродром Скворин (непонтяно почему Скворин, по карте это Березовский) мною было уничтожено 3 ангара и несколько самолётов на стоянке. НИ ОДНА ЦЕЛЬ НЕ ЗАСЧИТАНА В СТАТИСТИКУ! требую разобраться в неполадке, записи обоих вылетов прикрепляю в качестве неопровержимых доказательств.

Kathon, it seems that with the U-2 as transport taking a gunner disqualifies it as a transport. Can this be confirmed/fixed?

TAW server sometimes don't detect properly destroyed AAA.

There are options such as Düsseldorf instead of Wesel and Münster instead of Ladbergen. Tanks respawn under bridge

This is more game bug where it's not possible to put a tank on the bridge.

This is game bug in the log files:

AType:2 is damged event and AID:120845 is you as attacker. TID is ID of the AA target (all ok)

AType:3 is destroyed event but here there is no info about the attacker (AID = -1). Normally there is ID of the attacker. To fix it I would have to improve the script to find a player who had most damaged the target in that case and count him a ground kill. Maybe one day...

In mission #48 a tank column spawned and immediately closed nesterovo, is it supposed to be that way? seems very weird to me

I wonder if anyone can help me I am trying to get in to the tacticalairwar.com server to register and keep getting Error 403 You don't have permission to access this resource. Anyone have a fix for me. I am in South Africa, would this cause me to be blocked from the server? Thanks ?
