I mean spontaneously from the server, i play with around 250 ping (I am from Brazil) But it's ok for me, but is that considered a huge ping? I never go above 300 unless it's on Wings of Liberty

Wow what a shitshow. When Allies had presence, the server was "dead". Now there is one airfield left and we got 40 axies vs 14 allies.

I got the same problem - I recently changed my profile name on Sturmovik and all of a sudden my account

is locked in TAW. Hope they will sort out this issue.

Did he shoot you or was it a bomb?

 

Either way you were his first kill of any kind. Maybe he was frustrated at never destroying anything so he finally broke and shot a friendly plane down.

You can fix it urself. Let me help you:

- Log in your locked account (EAF_T_Therion) and change it to a completly different name like XYZ under profile;

- Now log into the unlocked account (Therion) and change it to EAF_T_Therion under profile. For future reference, whrn u change your account name in il-2, there is no need to create a diffetent account in TAW. All you have to do is to update your name under profile in the Taw website.

1. When I say log into your account, I mean the TAW account. Click on "Login" in the upper right corner and put your account name and password. After you are logged in, you will see a "Pilot Profile" on the right upper corner again. There you can change your account name. The accounts cannot have the same email, I dont think.

It's me again.  Tried the above but it didn't clear the problem.  I think I have it pretty messed up.

 

When I log onto the TAW site with my locked account (NJG/88_Clutter) the profile shows tow pilots.  NJG/88_Clutter [locked] and AKA_Clutter [unlocked]. I changed NJG/88_Clutter [locked] to "xxxx" and then logged out.  Next I tried to log into TAW as "AKA_Clutter [unlocked] but couldn't.  I tried the password for NJG/88 but that didn't work.  I asked for a new password with the same email as NJG/88_Clutter.  That too didn't work.  Next I tried ask for a new password with a different email, but that too didn't work.

 

The problem may revolve around the fact that I never registered AKA_Clutter.  What happen is that my IL-2 profile name was AKA_Clutter and I jumped into the TAW server just to see what it was like.  Latter, the my squadron decided to fly as blue under NJG/88.  The "AKA_Clutter" was the IL-2 profile without a squadron tag.

 

So if anyone can help me get this straightened out I would greatly appreciate it.

Is there any way you can reverse a captured status and give back air kill streak and such. I was clearly inside friendly lines when I was escorting some 52s when we got jumped and I had to ditch on our side of the lines in 1235. Sadly my flight record stopped shortly before being shot down so I don't have any proof except for those who were there and the guy who shot me down. I completely understand if you guys cant since I was stupid and pressed ctrl r in panic but it would be appreciated.

Even if you are on friendly territory you are a german pilot on mother russia land  and pesants can catch you and made you captured haha :D

Are you sure you have jumped behind your lines ? I have never seen anyone being captured after bailing on his own territory. Also I think it was in 1437.

Either last campaign or the one before that, I was captured at my own airfield!!!  Not a front line field, either!

Was a very impressive sight with the 8x Ju52.

Me and Rambo were a bit late to the action and got in just in time to help our guys with the 109s. And after that we did some more cleanup with the Ju52s and another cheeky 109 that wanted to jump us - he didnt count with Rambos 23mm though.

Was a great map - a bit sad to see Kuban go for now.

Did the risk of being captured get increased this campaign? Or is my pilot constantly the guy that washed out of SERE school? Seems like every bailout of mine = capture, even if it’s within 10km of lines.

Its tons of work and always a fight against the "clock". And the opposition is good and fights clever.

I'm pretty sure it is just a random value on the chance of being captured. I survived and was not captured after bailing out over an enemy defence position.

Yeah, Germans are their own worst enemies. We loose a lot of Aircraft with very little Effect. I would love to know where all these Aircraft go tbh and who looses them.

I have the same problem. TaC47 already existed from when I played on the server before registering on the TAW site, so TaC47 is unlocked but =BMAD=TaC47 (which is registed on the site) is locked and i cant find a way to straigten it out.

Re: getting captured behind friendly lines, I know for Kathon once said that the actual frontline was a rough estimate and couldn't be counted on. He recommended landing as close to friendly forces/airfields as possible.

 

Of course, no idea how Tuesday got captured at his own airfield lol

I do contribute to the loosing of aircrafts (as attested by my abysmal stats). I'm a rooky still so fighter sortie don't go too well usually. Bomber sorties are average. Heck I even got shot down flying a resupply behind our line with tante Ju. I'm a bullet magnet.

There's not a lot of English speakers on the TS when I can fly after work. I'm usually sitting there on my own in the English channel.

 

Had a nice few flights with Mesumi the other day tho and got invited to fly in Russglish with the people from KK which was fun too.

 

Bottom line is I'd love to team play more but there's mostly Germans or Russians when I'm on the TS and I speak neither languages sadly.
