Napping-Man Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 I'm getting an error after changing the load-outs for my squad and clicking "Accept Mission". Flying MiG-3s, November 1, 1941, with the 27th in Moscow. The MiG-3's loadout options seem identical to the I-16's loadout options, and the gunpods were not listed. However, this just may be a coincidence and not related to the error. PWCGErrorLog.txt

TheSNAFU Posted February 12, 2019 Posted February 12, 2019 Hi Pat, not sure if you saw my report at the end of the previous page but I’d like your thoughts on it when you have a moment. Thanks.
PatrickAWlson Posted February 12, 2019 Author Posted February 12, 2019 @TheSNAFU To be plain about it I think that I messed up skins when I did the equipment management release. I have gotten away with it to this point because not many people are doing much with BoS skins. It's going to take a little bit of time to get them working again.
Almenas Posted February 12, 2019 Posted February 12, 2019 Well I´m one of the few who is doing a bit with BoS skins. Would like to see it work like in RoF.

I think, it used to work like in RoF. It is just missing the skins. Maybe one could do something like this in a first step to get this going: * Compile a list of squadrons and planes it had in use. * Ask in the skinning section of the forum for help to create generic skins for these squadrons.
Almenas Posted February 12, 2019 Posted February 12, 2019 I have inserted own skins (like in RoF), but they are not displayed. { "skinSetType": "SKIN_CONFIGURED", "skins": { "SU_SG1-II_Stab1": { "skinName": "SU_SG1-II_Stab1", "planeType": "bf109e7", "startDate": "19410601", "endDate": "19430401", "squadId": 20142001, "country": "GERMANY", "category": "Configured", "definedInGame": false }, "SU_SG1-II-1_A": { "skinName": "SU_SG1-II-1_A", "planeType": "bf109e7", "startDate": "19410601", "endDate": "19430401", "squadId": 20142001, "country": "GERMANY", "category": "Configured", "definedInGame": false }, ...
JG4_dingsda Posted February 12, 2019 Posted February 12, 2019 I had it running on the different levels, but did not try recently because of the lack of skins. Patrick already said, that something went awry when he added the equipment management. I just thought it would be nice to get this going for the future. (But maybe we should not discuss this in the Bug Report Thread)
TFS_Knuckles Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 Hi I'm new for the PWCG. I face on a problem that i cannot create a new campaign (Error log, Directory and PWCG screen as attachment). May i did something wrong but i cannot find it. Thank you for your help
PatrickAWlson Posted March 26, 2019 Author Posted March 26, 2019 @TFS_Knuckles This is a problem in PWCG but you can probably get around it by selecting a map instead of leaving it as "All". For instance, in your case it would be the Moscow map .
TFS_Knuckles Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 @PatrickAWlson Thank you very much for your response. I already try to create the campaign by each map but it still cannot.
JGr2/J5_W0LF- Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 Can we please have a way to edit pilots we add to our roster. Id like to add pilots without rank. Oh and a way to deletes them from the roster as well. thanks Pat
King_Franky Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 Hello Patrick, I get a weird skin for the A20B in my YAK1B campaign. I think it's the one in the 2nd Screenshot. Should I just delete it in the skin folder? Nevertheless I enjoy flying the missions with your PWCG a lot. Thank you and keep on doing with your great work. MissingSkinReport_20190427080452.txt
Utopioneer Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 (edited) @PatrickAWlson Getting an error on mission generation tonight, was flying I./JG52 in Kuban, just entered August 1942 and looks like we got transferred to Stalingrad. Logs attached PWCGErrorLog.txt Edit: I was able to track this down to an issue with the personnel file. One of my pilots on 7/31/42 bailed and was captured. We then got transferred to Stalingrad, where I could no longer generate missions. Restoring that pilot's status to healthy and active solved the mission generation issue. jasta11ace Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 HI Patrick, Hope I'm doing this right. The other night my Dora campaign did this after the AAR. At the top of the chalkboard page, "Mission, Lone Wolf Mission, and Combat Report" are missing. "Pilots" on down are there. So no way to continue the Campaign as the Error report comes up. Hope this helps. Utopioneer Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 I had a new bug (i think) on v5, and I wonder if this will still be an issue in the next version. Set up a 109 ground attack mission, and as seems usual we're assigned an escort flight. This time the escort flight was a couple of 109s from our own squadron. This was cool to see, but unfortunately one of the assigned pilots was a human pilot who couldn't fly that night. I didn't see anywhere during generation that I could have had control over the assigned escort pilots, and it wasn't shown to me until we loaded the mission, so I had to shut down the server and scrub the mission for a new one. Ultimately not a huge deal other than needing to load up again, but it seems the software shouldn't assign human pilots to these flights, as the AI could get them killed. The next version the host will presumably have full control over pilots from all flights, so I imagine this won't be a problem? This is the same human pilot that I've had the other issues with, not sure if they're related.
