Jaws2002 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 (edited) Thanks. Looking around the forum I found the professionally made Kill markings uploaded by viperrm64. He did a ton of historical Luftwaffe kill markings for all fronts. They look way better than what I did on the last skin, so with his permission I updated the skin with his markings. The stretching that for some reason kept messing my kill markings is gone. 100% improvement. Thank you Viper. viperrm64 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Beautiful skin Jaws glad my stuff was able to help you.
Tyberan Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Can anyone tell me how to get the spinner the same colour for static as it is spinning in animation. I can get the spinner black for the static scheme but as soon as it spins it turns white.
Jaws2002 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 (edited) The red areas on this skin are the spinner. The top left circle and rectangle are for the static prop. The low left circle and rectangle in the low right corner are for the rotating spinner. upload gambar Edited February 12, 2015 by Jaws2002 1
Jaws2002 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Thank you. It's as much fun to make skins, as it is to use them in game.
Tyberan Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Cheers Jaws2002. Now if only I could perfect a white spiral
Madigan Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Skin I've been working on for a while. I've always like this camo because it was so unique. 5/JG300 red 10 Stab II "Karl Rusack" FW190-A8 I also repainted an RC aircraft to have the same scheme. Where is possible to download it..? ( Great job !! ) 3
Tyberan Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I havent really finished it yet. Still a few more tweaks with the weathering. What does everyone else use for file hosting?
Tyberan Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Just an update, I deleted my previous post with screenshots of my skin because I realised that I forgot to put them into spoilers, as I had a certain symbol in full on the tail. Normally I dont like displaying that particular symbol but it didnt look right for the skin, I only did it for historical accuracy. Since I couldnt figure out how to edit my post a day later I deleted it instead. 3
viperrm64 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Kommodore Hans Phillip Fw-190 A5 Stab JG-1 "Minke and Pinke", Jever, September 1943. This skin carries full historical markings, hope you like it. Rob. P.S. Love all the new Fw-190 skins you guys have done in the last ten days or so they are all excellent. http://www.mediafire.com/download/to0yldgq8bbp51k/Hanns_Phillip_Minke_Pinke.dds 2
viperrm64 Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Fw-190 A2, Stab 3 JG26, flown by Hauptmann Josef "Pips" Priller, based in Weverghem, Belgium, June 1942. I did this skin as a private request for someone on the forums and he has kindly given me permission to upload it. I have done two versions of Priller's A2, as references on his early Fw-190's are a little vague. At this time he had 74 "kills" to his name and these were mainly against R.A.F. aircraft. I have done two versions, one without the lovely black marking on the side of the front fuselage as this seems to be accurate for this aircraft he flew in Belgium in 1942, and I've done one with the black marking on the side mainly because it just looks so cool but I think this was on one of his later Fw-190 A mounts, but hey it's up to you which one to use or indeed use both. Please note all my skins carry full historic markings. Hope you like them. Here's the historic one: http://www.mediafire.com/download/dsd1iq4yznsts1d/Josef_Priller_A2.dds Here's the one with the black markings: http://www.mediafire.com/download/ung2isqalins4ti/Josef_Priller_A2_Black_Marking.dds 1
viperrm64 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Fw-190 A 2 Josef "Pips" Priller updated. Thanks to JAWS and his attached photos we can now see that indeed W.Nr 0552 did have the black part eagle markings on the side front fuselage and also a very different wavy demarcation line between the two shades of grey on the fuselage as well, also W.Nr is not shown on the tail fin just the code "0552" so thanks again to JAWS I have rectified these details and am now submitting a nearly 100% accurate rendition of Priller's A2 0552. I am sorry for any inconvenience but it's best to be accurate and don't forget this skin carries full historic markings. Thanks Rob. http://www.mediafire.com/download/ung2isqalins4ti/Josef_Priller_A2_Black_Marking.dds 1
Jaws2002 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Awesome! Thank you! This aircraft is presented in the book as FW-190 A3, so it's perfect fit for our Foke Wulf. Priller flew up to April 1942 the A2 with WNr. 20206, that was then transferred to Grunlinger, his wingman, in the above photo. Thank you. It's in my hangar already.
viperrm64 Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Staffel 1/JG 54 Fw-190A3's Skin Pack. Here is a multiple skin pack of 1/JG 54 Fw-190's(probably A3's or 5's) so you can use them in missions(using the new ME), and give your flight an authentic look. I must stress that these are not 100% historically accurate skins(White 5 is as it's what I used to "clone" the others) but it looks better than having all sorts of different skins from lots of other units. I have used a little "artistic license" to make small additions to some of the skins in 1 JG 54 but in keeping with the colours and markings of the time. I am sorry for showing Hakenkreuz in these screen shots I wish to offend no one just show my skins in true Luftwaffe historic style. There are five skins or six if you use my Nowotny "White 5 " skin as a flight leader. There will be more units to follow. I wish I had the time to make each one have individual camouflage and mottling but I simply don't, IT'S CALLED MARRIAGE AAAAARRRRGGGHHHHHH. Thanks Rob. http://www.mediafire.com/download/6z0fh91234k1cbb/1_JG54_Staffel.zip 1
Yankee_One Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Hi Rob, its a HUGE MARRIAGE!! Nice to see whole Staffeln of diverse JG. Nice job

viperrm64 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Thanks Lc and excellent SPEKTRE glad some one else is going to do some skin packs, my next project will be the chequered nose Fw-190's of 2/ JG 1.
viperrm64 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Fw-190 A6's 2 JG 1 Skin Pack. Hi everybody, This is an eight aircraft skin pack representing the "Chequered Noses" of 2 JG/1 with a few variations added here and there but all trying to keep it as historically correct as I can. I 'm sorry if I've upset anyone showing the Hakenkreuz in the screenshots, I assure you it is not my intention to offend anyone just show the true historic Luftwaffe markings as they were in WWII. Thankyou I hope they come in handy. http://www.mediafire.com/download/d32jcwu1po16dbl/Fw-190_A6_2_JG_1_Skinpack.zip P.S Black 3 and Black 2 are previous skins I did a couple of weeks ago, these have now been updated a little so overwrite when asked to do so. Also please ignore the typo for the screen shots it should say 2/JG1. 1

viperrm64 Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Fw-190F2 2/SG 1 "Battle of Kursk" skin pack. All these screenshots were taken using Lupson's amazing Mission Builder(at one point I had thirty Fw-190's in near formation at the same time!!!), they are Fw-190 F2's of 2/SG 1 as they appeared around the Battle of Kursk .I have added a rare colour photo of the unit when they have just had their F2's delivered so you can see they carry no codes, the F2 was a "Fighter Bomber" version of the Fw-190 and was also used for reconnaissance as well as ground attack of all manor of targets, the later and more powerful F8 version was a formidable attack aircraft in all ground attack roles. Please excuse the showing of Hakenkreuz I just want to show my skins in true historic nature. Thank you. http://www.mediafire.com/download/s22uev9jrx1fjik/Fw-190_F3_2_SG1_Skin_Pack_Kursk.zip P.S. If there are any errors or there's something you think may be corrected please do not hesitate to contact me, I'm not as good as say HellHound or Iceman, they are true masters, but I'm trying my best. 4
BlackHellHound1 Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Hello there fellow pilots, I have added yet an other skin to my museum. This time it is Oberleutnant Egon Mayer. Fw 190A-3 Flown by Oberleutnant Egon Mayer, June 1942 This plane was part of 7./JG 2. Egon Mayer was credited with 102 aircraft shot down including 26 4-engined bomber, 51 Spitfires and 12 P-47's. All claimed over the Western front. He was the first to claim 100 victories entirely over the Western front. Together with his fellow ace Georg-Peter Eder, Mayer developed the head-on attack against daylight heavy bombers. Egon Mayer was shot down on March 2nd 1944 while leading an attack on a USAAF bomber formation. A P-47 Thunderbolt escort fighter shot him down near Montmédy, France. Egon Mayer received multiple medals for his actions. This skin is Historically accurate. I have posted this skin in my Museum where you can watch all of my skins and even get them yourself! http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/13781-blackhellhound1s-skin-museum/?p=240370 2

Potenz Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Turkish Fw-190 A3 In the middle of 1942 the RLM issued an export order for FW 190s to be sent to Turkey. Turkey received 72 FW 190 Aa-3 (a for auslandisch - foreign) aircraft between October 1942 and March 1943. The first FW 190 Aa-3 was built in August 1942. The FW 190 Aa-3 received its own Werk Nummer block, 0134 101 - 0134 172 (although it is not known if W.Nr 110, 123, 146 and 148 were handed over). These aircraft were basically FW 190 A-3s, with BMW 801 D-2 engines, and FuG VIIa radios. However, they did not have FuG 25 radios, and had an armament fit of four MG 17s, with the option of installing two MG FF/M cannon in the outer wing position.
