Hello, here are three attempts on Fock.
1, III / JG1. On this diagram, I found only one link. Perhaps no historical basis, but perhaps it is applicable.

Thanks for all these wonderful Würger skins!

P.S. - I know it has nothing to do with the Battle of Stalingrad, but if someone were to do Armin Faber's A3, I'd be ETERNALLY grateful. :)

After figuring out the alpha layer in my old Elements 1.0 program, I have modified the stock template and done a few historical JG 54 generic skins with no numbering. Politically incorrect insignia is on for historical accuracy.

The skins look gorgeous but would it be asked to much if you could offer a download link to a political correct skin for those who don't want to use such a skin?

That can be arranged. Same skins without the verboten hakenkruz are linked below.

If it isn't too much to ask, can the guys doing historical skins just make a habit of posting D/L's to BOTH versions of the skin?

Not that it is entirely relevant here, but if you download a historical skin for DCS World, those guys'll include both versions from the get-go. I'm sure it saves them a bit of time replying and reposting by doing it that way.

In the Original Il2 and CLOD made sense to upload a non marked skin as well, because you could use the ingame markings on the skin. Here' whatever comes with the skin, it's all you'll get. so a skin without markings is going to remain a skin without marking in game as well.

About the swastika, I thought people got over the markings on some paper plane in some game. Historically it was there, so I think it's part of the skin.

Experimenting away.

Really suppose to be a A-7 in 1944, but hey.  :)

Jaws, there is a wierd thing on your no-swastika skin on the left side: there are two eagles.

FW-190 A4 of Staffelkapitän Horst Hanning  2./JG2, Tiqueville, May 1943.

I got carried away. I noticed it's an A4 only after I did the new eagle head design. May as well finish it and post it  .

the markings in the screenshot have balkenkreuz with the black outline. The uploaded skins have the correct markings.

Here ya go...

That's a very interesting skin, thanks for suggesting it. It would appear that Hans Hahn and the Gruppenstab of III JG/2 painted the upper surface camo of their FW190 A3s with RLM 71 which was supposed to go on the bombers.

I don't get it, how come some can post skins with swastikas and others not?

I cant even look at my own skins because they wont load since they have been hidden behind a spoiler.

Some like them fully accurate - I myself included.

I don't think any of us are out to offend anybody so it is nice when both options are included and it makes sense to sensor the images being posted on the forums. I believe Spektre censors his images but leaves the option to the player which version they want to download.

But that's just it,  my skin had the "incorrect" marking and wont even load after being hidden behind a spoiler. Others have the same markings but are shown without spoiler.

Hm... Not sure on that one.

PM FlatSpinMan or Bearcat - I'm sure they would be happy to explain if and why the post really did get moderated.  :good:

It makes no sense. The same control freak attitude that hurt this game so bad this last few months. For crying out loud, this skins are made by third party! Made by the community! Nobody can hold the company responsible for this. Why censor this?

It makes no sense at all.

My own version of Oblt. Armin Faber's Fw190 A-3 (W.Nr 5313), Gruppenadjutant of III./ JG2, landed by mistake on Pembrey airbase, South Wales, on 23 June 1942...This time with his Luftwaffe original camouflage ;)
