We have a stabile server connection, with far more than enough internet speed.

I’m guessing that the language rules are in place so that no-one can just insult people in a language that the moderators don’t read?

I think it will work even with aussie ping rate but please feel free to test it and inform us so we can make some fine tune to set up for you to be more convenient.

Well, ping is a very plastic thing. As Amergin said, feel free to test, and we will discuss it.

If you have a language preference, perhaps you should state it that way, as a preference. The way it is written now it appears that using any other language will result in punishment.

 

That not withstanding, this looks like it could be an interesting server to play on. I look forward to the opportunity to see what you guys have in store.

I get that there is a reason for the language stipulations and I understand the reasoning for them. I just think you may want to make it a little more clear that these are preferences, not hard and fast rules, if that is indeed what they are. The way it reads now, it isn't so clear.

 

If you are worried about people slinging abuse in Russian I can help you with that. My Russian is fairly good and I know the majority of the common insults and am always looking to expand my vocabulary ?

Im just worried about why you raise your word  mentioning russian speaking people. What about the others?

Not at the moment but let me say that the bomber available airfields are the farest and the bomber need targets are also the farest side of the maps. The industrial targets are huge and the bombers have to travel a lot to reach them giving enough time and space to climb for level bombing. It is create a situation which need plenty of bombers to vipe out a target which is heavily defended by flak so level bombing is suggested and because of the distance, fighter escort would suggested also. No more fast bombing strategical targets  For the attackers there are more closer tatgets available.

I raise it because there is a large player base that use that language in game. It would be a shame if part of the community felt they were not welcome based solely on language. It is also an area I can be of help if it is needed and I'm a helpful sort, I guess. If it were Spanish or French that I could help with I'd bring them up too, but sadly I can't bandy them about with anything approaching proficiency. If I came off as critical, or negative, that was not my intent.

The server will be available for everybody. There is no restrictions for team chat. Every player in this community knows that communication is important.   Check the updated description, please.

"Server Rules are : Speak English, German or Hungarian in the common chat." is nonsense because for me and i guess most of the people Russian, Hungarian or German are incomprehensible languages so anyone can insult me in Hungarian or Russian and it will be same thing. Imo you should use only one universal language like English.

Definitely gunna chekc it out, wish you guys would of opened the server today instead of on a monday though. Everyone's going to be flying today. Would definitely be nice to see some competition to WoL. It's a great server but as with all things competition breeds rapid improvement.

If someone insult me in german, hungarian or russian i will not know because i don't know those languages  imo chat should be in one language.

If people use common chat in other languages, right after you shoot them down or etc, just let us know, and we will check the chat through a software.

I know my value so if random guy insult me it his problem not mine

my point is: european server = one universal language

Think that's 4pm EST, sweet! Will definitely be checking it out. Here's to hoping everything goes well!! I will probably get a better ping than in wings as well which will be nice.
