I had to read the dd in college today. I couldn't wait till I got home! ?

I really didn't expect the rockets. This means I can go tank busting in my Spit hehehe ?

 

A bit of a kick in the balls that the Spit is only going to 18lbs boost.

This campaign goes almost to the end of the war in the west and we're not on 25lbs boost?

Seems pretty sUsPICiCiOuS  ???

Nice stuff, I really like both planes. The Spit's better, but I know that I will like the G-14 more. 

ANYONE KNOWS WHAT THE NEXT TWO PLANES TO COME ARE??

Yeah, a bit disappointed that it's not +25 (was having a bit of a hard time keeping up with the G-14 in the one dogfight I tried) but the Spit is still pretty darn fun. Really pleased with the many options available for modifications, clipped wings as an option? That's awesome! And two different engines is a pretty cool choice as well.

 

Was having a bit of a hard time using the GGS but I'll get the hang of it I imagine.

Make sure range and wingspan settings are correct! The default ones are waaaaaaay off becomes WAY easier once set!

Yes I know, however most of the time the reticle was way below the nose because of the nature of the dogfight I was in against the 109. I had the same problem in the Stang in DCS.

 

However I am totally in love with the Spitfire so far. It's a blast.

 

The G-14 is fun too, but damn, that 30mm gun is hard to aim with, it's like lobbing potatoes!

Why the G14 has just the AM verssion and not the ASM?  The improved compressor was standar on the 109s at the Boddenplate era Late44 early 45. At least should be a mod to choose between AM and ASM etc, as on the spitfire you can have merlin 70 also as a mod.

I think it's because of the extra 3D model work it would have required (late engine cowling). I was looking to this variant too as it was quite numerous in the Bodenplatte operation. Hopefully they can include it in the future. The regular G-14 was also an important player though (the most numerous 109 variant, followed by the G-14/AS).

Although the AS is more of a sidegrade than a pure upgrade, it gives up a bit of low altitude speed and climbrate to have a better high alt performance.

So for some reason the 109's MAP decreases below 1.5 ATA at 2 km when it should have an FTH of around 6 km.

I'm thus far unsure whether that's an issue with the boost gauge or a genuine lack of power.

I will switch my work on skins right now to give a Bf-109 G14 Template latest beginning next week. It will be based on my Bf-109 G6 and will come with proper Alpha Layer and Normal Map.

I would like to thank the Devs for including the two new bios. It is really stunning to see the SPANISH VOLUNTEER  being able to join the 15 (Span.)/JG27 and participate in the Battle for Moscow. Taking care of the small minorities says a lot in favor of you Devs. We really appreciate it! 

I wish we could include the skins in the future too.
