Perfect chance for me to improve my marksmanship so that I can actually be effective in the new DM...

 

I should be clear this is not me complaining about it - I really like it! I like the way that you can often do fatal damage which isn't immediately obvious - you'll get in a burst and the blighter might go down like 5 minutes later or something. I think this matches up well with reality, especially when you look at the number of 'damaged', 'probable' and 'driven down out of control' claims on combat reports. while the old DM was very cinematic, I think the new one better reflects reality.

This was always the case though. That's why I would prefer to damage many rather than positively down one. I'd then track the damaged ones and they would more often than not pile-in on their way home.

We had patch on monday, hotfix patch on thursday and no dd on friday

Shame about no new DD, but the new update has been pretty great!

 

Only a couple more months now until Bodenplatte is released. And I'm willing to bet pretty soon 777 will be pulling back the curtains on any new modules they have in the works. No way they don't have something hidden just off to the side somewhere...
