Hello,

 

I tried to gift my friend a copy of IL2 Battle of Bodenplatte on Steam, however he is getting an error message that says "Authorization Denied." He does not have any other IL2 game, does he require Battle of Stalingrad too, or an account on the IL2 website first? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible to create and link two IL2 accounts to the same Steam account, basically using the same Steam install?

I'm aware it might be an odd request... but I would like to keep my WW I and WW II modules separated, but keeping them active and usable from my Steam account.

If it's not possible I'll just request a refund and re-purchase FC for my "old" IL2 account.

Hi guys

I started flying Battle of Stalingrad about 18 months ago but walked away from it due to other commitments. At that time I purchase Battle of Bodenplatte from the Il2 site

I'm now back and because of the large number of updates I had to completely re-install the game through Steam. Fair enough!

However my Bodenplatte keeps disappearing from my Hanger. Salingrad, Kuban and Moscow show up but not always Bodenplatte.

When I verify the files in the game it keeps telling me that 2 files had to be re-aquired and then Bodenplatte is back, but if we fly two missions in an evening Bodenplatte disappears for the second mission.

Can anybody tell me what needs to be done to fix this problem?

Have you linked your Steam and Il-2 Store accounts?

Is your game under C\Program files? Bring it out of there to another location, Cut and paste the whole Steam folder and update your shortcuts!

Recently in a transfer of files to a new ASUS gaming 3080 PC I seem to have lost all of working files of all of the above and temporarily for the next couple of days have lost internet access because of a faulty connection with the required ASUS aerial. My question is when I reconnect with STEAM later this week,will I get everything back , including skins, missions, scripted campaigns & careers? I did mange to keep an entire copy of the February GB in another drive, just in case, but I don’t think it will work until I reconnect with Steam( will it?)

Recently I've build a new  computer ( MB, processor and SSD) and after downloading new install from steam I pasted the whole content of saved GB onto it. Skins, missions etc. Everything works fine. So I think you shouldn't have a problem

Unofficial skins and third party campaigns wouldn't download, they're not part of the game package if you have to get them separately .official campaigns would be fine. I think the career mode has a local file that you have saved but I don't think it would come with a download of the game.

Same, additionally if you're using the autologin.cfg feature/script the same thing happens, but it won't come back to the login screen to allow you to cleanly exit the game.

For some reason i am unable to buy Battle of Stalingrad for myself. I can only buy it as a gift, wich sucks.
I checked 4 times that i havent allready bought it, i didnt. I'm rather confused becasue i have no idea where it could conflict with any of the things i currently have, wich is Tankcrew, the StuG preorder and the battle of Kuban premium edition.
I would love to have that pack, especially now because its on sale.
I hope anyone has an idea what i can do, and yes, i checked if it goes for standard and Premium edition and paired it with every other edition both premium and standard in the hopes of fixing it.

I ended up going to the home launcher, I found all the modules that I had bought directly on the official site, but not BOS (which makes sense from what I understood, right?)... off, when I try to redeem it, it tells me that I can only buy it as a gift only... I can't redeem BOS?

The Western Front 1918 map is not showing up in my QMB. I'm updated to 5.003, own FC1 through Steam (FC1 was received as a gift, in case that matters), have mods off and have verified my files through Steam. The map appears in the editor though I couldn't find any templates besides the Arras one

 

I think I am reading this correct? It should be available to people who own FC1, and the QMB should be available?

The "Western Front, Spring 1918" map is available in Early Access to all customers who pre-ordered Flying Circus Vol. 2 and to all owners of Flying Circus Vol. 1 as we promised at the time of the announcement. Quick Mission mode works already, the work on finalizing the map and implementing the Pilot's Career and Advanced Quick Mission modes for it continues
