- Modification for Easy Mission Generator by Vander

for peace time civil transport airfield to airfield flights.

It is possible to create on all IL-2 GB WW2 maps civil transport missions.

-with random clouds, time, wind, civil ambient cars, ships, trains...

-and with some colourful Acrobatic Planes, flown by the player or some crazy AI Pilots...

-Acrobatic Planes without ammo in EMG settings

-Moscow Free Flight Zone by EffeDB integrated Mission Generator

-Civil Trains without AAA

-Mixed columns of german / allied cars

Aeroflot Pilot: Moscow, Velikiye Luki, Kuban

Civil Transport Pilot: Rheinland, The Channel, New v02: France (whole western front) Map for long range missions

How to use:

-with installed Mod you have many civil C47 (DC3), Ju52, U2, and some colorful I16 and a Hurricane skin available.

 

-with QMB you can fly from airfields on all Maps,

Please deactivate all Targets.

If you want to hear russian radio chatter with Aeroflot C47 / Ju52 please edit the "_gen.Mission" and set the player's plane to USSR.

 

-with Easy Mission Generator Mod:

-Please visit the Easy Mission Generator page by Vander, read the instructions, and try out his original Easy Mission Generator to learn the basic operations.

With the Civil Transport Pilot Easy Mission Generator Mod you can create civil transport missions:

select your home airfield and move the target circle to the target airfield:

 

Additionally you can fly for Sight Seeing Patrol Missions with U2, I16 and Hurricane

 

AI Behaviour of AI Ambient, Escort, Patrol Planes

-Because they have no ammunition they are performing some interesting stunts and acrobatic manoevers...

Thanks for this fine piece of work Kraut1 , it takes me back to my Microsoft FSX days it was very enjoyable , i flew 2 missions and somehow failed both, on the i-16 Hurricane mission i got stuck in a soft spot in the service area one wheel was stuck in the ground , mind you it wasn't the best of landings lol , but the C-47A to Folkestone it felt like i did everything right but got mission failed , none the less it was really good fun thanks , have you any plans on adding the I-153 just for some more acrobatics ? plus it would be a great opportunity for myself and others alike to practice landing in a more relaxed environment. thanks again

Please don't care for the mission results at the end of the missions.

IL-2 GB itself and the Easy Mission Generator are military flight simulations and it it do not understand the purpose of just civil flights...

But I could  a small group to the template missions that each mission is successful after some seconds.

With the next revision mid July I will add Odessa and the I-153.

This will be added with the next revision together with the Odessa map in mid July.

(But you can already fly a Quick Mission from an airfield north of Paris)

This MOD gives me MSFS X vibes. I'm tempted to reinstall. I have heaps of ORBX addons.... No,, i'll stay with this now.. Best maps are Normandy and Kuban. Rhineland has some beautifull terrains, but it is too empty. But it is still fun to fly, because it is so big.

Maybe in next version there will be really long fligts. It might not suit for all, but me likes. And also some from airfields that are not in historical or popular combat area.. like east/south part of Rhineland, Mountains in east Kuban map.

Paris looks awesome. This a bit OT, but I was just wondering that is it possible to make a random object generator for random houses and maybe villages and other objects, Like that random effects and artillery dynamic effects and units? I have fiddled with EMG templates on FMB to create some points of interrest, but it iwould be fun to find random stuff? Other fun thing would be  a possibility to drive those cars  as a civilian.or  just drive around with tanks My missionmaking skills are minimal...  I love IL2 Great battles, but maps are too empty...

Yes, would be nice.

-random placed villages: will not work for the Great Battles Map system, because for a good looking village you have to place the 3D Houses, churches,... in the mission file and simultaneously you have to create a background by surface editing.....

-If you use EMG to create a mission as a coop mission maybe you can drive a tank too or the russian AAA truck and switch back to a plane? But I never did this.

-And for the civil mod it would be nice to have the AAA truck without weapons, but I was not able to modify it.

The Gaz flaktruck seems to be in Vehicles5.gtp. Tried to have a look at the files, but at least blender could not show the various .mgm files to find which belong to the gun.

My idea was to deactivate the turret by modifying the settings file "_gaz-mm-72k.txt" for the truck in the:

....data\luascripts\worldobjects\vehicles

folder.

But in contrast to only ai controlled ships this did not work.

Thanks very much for the skins.

I have tested both and I like them.

This type of cyrillic letters to read is always a good training for me. (I learn bulgarian language / not easy)

 

One detail I had to change (maybe only for my IL-2 installation required):

I had to add "&1" to the main skins (yellow marked).

 

I will release them soon.

 

But I will try out with EMG if it is possible to use one of them automaticly by default for some selected airfields at the sea for touristic flights like Анапа, Сочи,...

In my profile on HSD there is a U-2 in the form of a Yugoslav biplane Fizir.

I have a question. I don't know if this is interesting for you and if you have the time available.

But in general for the western european maps some skins for the C47 in the style of Air France, Sabena and Lufthansa would be nice to have.

I have uploaded a request with some images.

From my point of view it is sufficient if they are just semi historical or similar as the original ones. And even only 1 skin would be helpful.

It is just an idea, and if it is not possible for you no problem.

That is up to you.

They will work in the \data\Missions but to have a better overview you could create a further "civilian-pilot-missions" inside the "Missions"  folder.

I myself am a bit old-fashioned (From the MS-DOS area) and still try to avoid blanks in folder and file names...😁
