SCG_Neun Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Is anyone experiencing any problems loading the Prokhorovka map in the mission editor? Having problems on both off location server and personal computer. Will load and then freeze never loading up full map terrain.... 1 1 1
Monty_Thrud Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Yup, since update... https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/77917-mission-editor-hangs-when-loading-prokhorovka-dependent-on-active-view-mode/#comment-1176818 https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/77893-mission-editor-not-opening/ 1
IckyATLAS Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 I confirm, it is not possible to load the Prokhorova map. It crashes the loading and then freezes the editor. I have to cancel the task to get out. Completely bugged. 1
jollyjack Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 I reported it with -ded-rapidus, he confirmed it. Meanwhile back at the station i use the editor from 4.702c without problems ... editor_4.702c.zip 2 1
Vendigo Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 @jollyjack I have been trying to load the Prokhorovka map, so your advise should be helpful but please explain in more details, do I just have to unzip your file in IL-2 main directory, to have "editor" folder replaced with the new files? Will the new "old" editor still have the objects that were added since 4.702c?

Will the new "old" editor still have the objects that were added since 4.702c? I did not notice problems as the old ME seems to use the database from 4.703c. I even placed it inside a different external folder location, called editor 4.702c, and a shortcut to it on the desktop, "G:\1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles - 15-maart-2022 4.702c\bin\editor\STEditor.exe" But i did not so far create any TC missions with it to tell you the truth. Only loaded and saved one where you can place the new GB blocks etc ... Try it? 1
Vendigo Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 (edited) I was able to open the Prokhorovka map (courtesy @jollyjack advice) but I am having an odd bug when many of the static objects (buildings) in the map have winter camouflage: Spoiler Edited April 19, 2022 by Vendigo
Vendigo Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 Updated to 4.704 and it's still the same - many objects in the summer Prokhorovka map are white colored. At first I thought I used the wrong winter group to populate the map but I can see that Prokhorovka_ALL_scene.Group is the only Prokhorovka group available in the Editor, so no mistake here. Please help fix this, thanks! Spoiler 1
1CGS -DED-Rapidus Posted April 20, 2022 1CGS Posted April 20, 2022 @Vendigo, I need your mission, please archive it and attach it to the message.
Vendigo Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 @-DED-Rapidus here it is, btw I don't have mods. Thanks! Prokhorovka.rar 1
Vendigo Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 I've found another "color oddity" of the Prokhorovka map - the taxying aircraft's wheel tracks are also white (I quickly tested the Kuban map and Kuban is fine), so it seems to be only related to the Prokhorovka map... Spoiler
