Brief description: Sopwith Camel Windscreen Frame Shadow


Detailed description, conditions: Just noticed this last night. Am unsure whether this is something that's come about during recent updates or whether it's been around longer unnoticed. Saw that when I was heading home near sunset that the windscreens frame on the Camel does not cast an shadow. Some parts of the frame (the rim and bolts) do appear to cast an shadow but the main bulk of the frame does not cast any shadow. You can see this in evidence on the wooden strut visible in the screenshot I've posted. I've also attached screenshot showing the graphics settings that I've got in use should that have any assistance.

Brief description: Köln-Butzweilerhofar airfield covered by tall grass, AI having issues with taxing.


Detailed description, conditions: Tall grass all over the airfield, including a runway, also AI is having problems with taxing on it (spins are not rare). The easiest way to reproduce this is to start first Bodenplatte scripted mission - BF 109G14 - Defensive Patrol, where we start parked on Butzweilerhofar.

Found this overlap just West of the bridge in Timochny, approximately 1km NW of Velikie Luki. The overlap is present in all templates. Rotating the block in question from 99 to 189 resolves the road issue, but creates problems with the shadows on the terrain. Vehicles are not blocked by the geometry.

Brief Description: Koln Road Bridge- height for tanks incorrect

Detailed Description:  Panther Tank was travelling towards me. I was situated on the bridge but on the up ramp. The panther came at me but instead of heading down hill, kept going and thus seemed to levitate, as if the road he was driving on was still under his tracks.

In the FME if you load the Stalingrad map, summer textures, and load the ALL AIRFIELDS group most airfields have two translator icons on them. First picture shows just after loading group. If you select an icon and then move it away it reveals a second icon underneath, as seen in the second picture.

It causes the map to display overlapping names.

Thank you, I will ask you a couple of questions: did you record the track? or you have the mission? we need the exact place where this happened to recreate the conditions.

It was on the Advance and Secure Server. I have attached the downloaded files for the mission. I do not have a track. I have also attached a screen shot of the location of the bridge and direction of travel for the Panther. 

I have also tried to edit the mission file and place my rough position and the location (red line and x) and of the Panther (blue line)

 

If I can help any more please let me know.

Brief description: Sloped road on the Stalingrad map


Detailed description, conditions: Some roads are so sloped, you can't drive on them with tank. See track at 3:30 mins

Map Vluki summer: The railway bridge " bridge raidroad 200" shows no destruction after a hit. But when it is hit with "Damage event" and a text "Target destroyed" the text is displayed but the hit is not recognised.

Formation light switches don't move (althought they sound) when the engine is stopped. With engine on they move properly

Different Visuality on Front and Rear Depots while high altitude bombing:

hi folks,

The visuality of Depot targets is accidentally very difficult. Sometimes I can see them very early (some minutes before dropping bombs), sometimes they pop up just the moment I am over it. I didn’t find a rule why can see the targets more early or not, it seems not depends my graphic settings or the attack altitude.

Do you have any ideas because the accidentally visuality/non visuality?

When the engine is started, the formation lights are turned off, then turned on again. As you left the toggle switches, they are brought into this state after starting the engine. The engineers will look at this situation with the formation lights, thank you.

I have very strange bug with P-47 (buble top) and it is only with this aircraft. I have not tried all aicraft yet, but I try lot and only with P-47 I have this problem.

Those look like artifacts, it means that your gpu is damaged.

Try to clean dust away from your gpu fans.
There's much chance that you will need a new gpu though.

Brief description: Parts of the User Interface Are No Longer Opaque.


Detailed description, conditions: Just updated onto 4.603 and noticed that when using the map parts of this (the icons and etc) are semi-transparent, and I can see what's behind them. I've also noticed similar things with the quick mission map and the hangar graphics. Have restarted game and computer after noticing this, issue remained.

I would like to report new graphic bug: With last patch comes bug with "wall" in the area. It became close to front line in Moscow carier mode.

 

My PC:

 

Intel Core i5 - 2400

28 GB RAM

Randeon RX 580 (8GB GRAM) with last drivers

Your neighbor, wife, kids weren't playing Pink Floyd were they? I have never seen that or anything like it.  It could be a Radeon thing along with drivers, I'm using nvidia and as stated, I have never seen this or a post of anything like it. 

Try reverting back to last good drivers and see if it goes away. Last resort, delete your Startup.config file and let it regenerate..

Have you ever tried using a driver cleaner program before you install new drivers?.  I still have the old Driver Cleaner, you can't find it anymore but there are some good ones out there.  I use the nvidia version of this tweak guide, it talks about removal, cleaning, installation and tweaks, + advanced tweaks.

? I didn´t know that this bug is memory to Pink Floyd and their album The Wall?

 

Maybe, I solved it, because my Il-2 files were broken after last pacht. I checked folders by Steam Integrity check, instaled fix and problem probably disappierd.

 

I was trying verified this solution in cocpit my Il-2, but I was shot down by Bf109 close to front line.

Brief description: Invisible Trees, Kuban map
Detailed description, conditions: Spotted the exact location of one of the invisible trees in the IL-2 maps, Kuban, Square 1330.7. Looking into it could fix the entire invisible tree problem in one go.

Brief description:
Torpedoes have no visible wake since update 4.603.

Detailed description, conditions:
Destroyers attacking targets using torpedos.  Torpedo turrets turn, torpedo is visibly ejected, splash visible as it enters the water, then nothing until torpedo hits target and explodes.  Mission Sea State 0.

Hard to show something that's not visible.

OS: Windows 10 Home; Version 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1165)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7, 1700.  8 Cores and 16 threads. 3.19GHz adaptive up to 3.7 GHz.  Currently stock speed.

Drivers up to date. (27.20.21003.8013) DirectX12 installed.

Brief description: 

Hello

I don't know if it's been present since the start of DD or if it's really a bug, but when a shell penetrates the additional armor plates (like Schürzen) , it only made a black hole, and this hole does not appears that on one side of the plate ...

It's happen with normal skin and personnal skin, for all tank with additionnal armor plates

dont know if this has been mentioned before or not, but its much easier to see outside when you put the interior lights on in the havoc, the reflection lets you look though onto the ground, making night low flying very easy

little bit hard to see in the pic, but you can see the ground clearly in first pic, with lights on
