Hello Folks.

 

I play this game and i appreciate the experience from it, but i really feel that something is missing from my aircraft and Axis aircraft.

 

And it is the Swastica, it's a lack of historical event that bother me, for a game that good and close to real theater i cannot think we don't have the option to enable it.

 

In my country like many others if you don't make propaganda you are fine.

 

Please make an option for us on the country where it is not a issue or problems at all, make this game more accurate and even greater please

A symbol on an airplane may make it look more to what they looked like back then, however do not influence any flight behavior. So better get used to the missing swastica. It doesn‘t matter if you have it or not and there are various good reasons why it is not in the game and that is absolutely fine.

Well, the majority of countries doesn't allow to display swastikas - not even the Finish Swastika, which was used before the Luftwaffe and shouldn't be associated

to the mindset of the Third Reich. But it is as it is and it absolutely does not lessen the joy of this game.

 

But if you and your fellows can't live with it, you can still download tons of very good skins here in this forum, which are historically correct or at least not censored.

So it's up to you, if you want it this way, but be warned not to use them on public servers like MP servers.

i am not very familiar with the forum, its my first post, so if i posted on the wrong channel my bad

 

i know some maybe thinks it is find or there some reason for it, but that it is your point of view, but i fell like something historical is missing and i am bit sad about it. 

 

So as a customer i would like to have the option to be more accurate for this war. Thanks for your help and i hope someday we will have this option for MP

I don‘t think this will ever be added to the core game because of the obvious reasons.

however, there are amazingly accurate custom skins for each plane over in Skins and templates. Some of them have even versions with and whitout swastica.

if you add them to your game (i guess there should be a guide on how to do it) you might be able to use them on some servers. Some servers do allow custom skins, but not all (WoL doesn‘t). You can use them offline however. I know that doesn‘t matter as you can‘t show your skins to others online, but if you‘re behind a russian, he shouldn‘t even see your skin before he goes down

 

while i‘m all for the „as accurate as possible“, i do support the decision of not putting swasticas on the plane for the reasons given.

as a customer, we have to respect this decision and be happy that the game is available to us in this way. If swasticas would be default, maybe you couldn‘t even buy the game in certain countries, idk.

Hello Fellas

 

Man with IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz you just need this file called "EnableHistoricalMarkings" then you click enable or disable.

 

And bim you can play multi-players with the correct cross. that was a very nice move for the person how made it possible.

 

@Elm calm down, i found it, but you cannot use it on MP so what is the point.

And mate don't forget that rules and regulations are not the same of other country, so there is no point to not add correct symbol.

I would prefer the developers remove swastica entirely as opposed to replacing it with this weird-looking symbol we currently have.

WarThunder removes swastikas entirely and it looks better that way.

Only a handful of countries have laws against it. Its no where close to the majority.

Sorry I did not really wish to give this thread any further unecesarry traction, but just wanted to agree with the above, in that as a default I’d prefer to see no Haken over the Faux Haken.

 

But then again as an offliner all my skins are historical.

Agreed, except that public servers in some free countries won't care about or censor the symbol.

Been discussed to death and it’s a well known answer as well. Use the search option and look for the pinned topic about swastikas.

 

There are topics about a mod to enable them already so no need of this to topic to ask for it.
