Nice Henrik, have you thought of using smoke for your aerobatic manouevers? :salute:

Thanks Stig :) I did not know that you could make smoke. How do I turn it on?

You need to choose it as a loadout - activate it with bomb or rocket release then.

As Golani says:  plane settings-aerobatic- choose 1 or 2 smoke dispensers and colour.

Tried it out in game and it makes it a lot easier to analyse how well you preform the different aerobatic maneuvers. Thanks for the help :)

Hi Henfre. I think I was subscriber number 1 or 2 :biggrin: The e7 has alway been my weapon of choice and my skinning friends made great skins for me. With the latest update etc I have so many new toys....its gonna take months.

Keep your tutorials up. I wish I had your inside loop video 3 years ago when I started, for me it is such a critical maneuver. To you, Ninny, Sheriff and Requiem plus all the others thank you guys I collect and watch them all. Learning is ongoing.

Can you please do a barrel roll and hammerhead?

Kind regards.

Andre

It's funny. I've always found it interesting to practice the Slow Roll. I just never knew there was a name for it. But the technique I use is exactly the same.

@Luger1969

Thank you Andre for being a subscriber :salute::biggrin: It really means a lot to see that people enjoy and want to see more tutorials. And be sure that more will come. I have got the Hammerhead and Barrel roll maneuvers in the pipline, but they are a bit down the line.

@Warpig

Practice is everything if you want to be a good pilot. And having the basic aerobatic maneuvers in your inventory will certainly improve your chances against the enemy. Even if you dont know what the maneuver is called ;)

@Katoshira

Great to hear that you learned something from watching the videos. With practice you are going to master the maneuvers and learn how to better control your plane in a dogfight. I hope you have subscribed to the channel or liked the videos as this will help me make more videos for you :salute:

Thank you very much. Good to be back :)

I will make a tutorial on how to do the Hammerhead for you :) I have been practicing the maneuver for a while now and I must say, that it is the hardest one yet. I will hopefully have the video tutorial ready some time in january :)

Happy New Year to all :salute:

Hello everyone

The tutorial on how to do the Hammerhead is finally finished and uploaded to Youtube. It has been a long time in the making because it actually is quite a hard maneuver to master. Have a look at the video and leave a comment if you have any remarks, good or bad :)

Thanks for watching and have a nice day :)

The most important thing about acrobatics in a combat simulator is knowing when to use  which one in a dogfight to put your aircraft in the desired position (...be it offensive, defensive or neutral). In your next videos, you might want to address that to make these videos truly useful for anything other than mucking around.

Very good video editing though!

Snap roll maybe next?

And from me too, thank you for the nice vids, very interesting.

Have a nice day.

@FlyingShark I have tried doing the Snap roll in the Bf-109 E-7 and for me it is impossible to do it consistently. I have done it perfectly a couple of times out of almost a thousand tries. The snap is often overdone and impossible to catch before you go into a spin. If anyone can do it then please show me how it is done in the Bf-109 E-7!

Thank you for watching the videoes and I hope to bring more when I get the time.

Best regards

For HenFre,

 I like your videos, havent had much time to set down with them, but a quick observation of them shows aspects that i really need at this time.

IE   the multiple camera angles, that shows an external of the plane and one of the cock pits flight stick.

      SO many videos by the other guys are un usable to me because yeah, i see the plane move but i have no chance to actually see how its done.  Telling me "roll the plane left" is worthless, but either show me or tell me "push left rudder pedal half way forward, pull stick sideways, when plane is upside down, let off on rudder and level stick out"

@Giggles Thank you. I hope the videos will help you learn these maneuvers and hense improve your flying skills. See you in the virtual skies

im just stuck trying to figure out why, besides my bad stick, that the controls seem sluggish when its a fighter on screen versus a bomber.

If you have time: how to get out of a Inverted Spin ?

Sometimes I find myself in a backspin by mistake and I can't get out of it ?.
What do you advise me to do?
After several readings I think I understand that you just have to put the foot against the yaw (rotation) stick in neutral (?) but what do you think of that ?
I master the upright spin but I have a lot of trouble to know which foot to put in (stick in neutral) during the inverted spin: problem to determine the direction of rotation in back position........................
I fly the yak 1b.
Thanks in advance and thanks again for your instructional videos.

Edit: retest this evening: I can't get the inverted spin to start voluntarily. Test with Yak 1b,BF 109 G1 and E7. Has the flight model been modified to the point that the inverted spin is difficult to generate ?
