That's crazy It took like 20 minutes for nearly all slots to be gone because like 4 guys posted.

Well, looks like I'm too late for Stukas (and even Ju-88s).  So, time to try my hand at VVS bombers, I guess.  How about an A-20?

It's the folks that fly it week in and week out who make it special as they enjoy well coordinated competitive immersive fun flown over a dynamic front where attack, bomber and transport aircraft conduct very detailed sorties under cover of the fighter arm.

Hi Guys,

Nice show tonight!

We had lots of action, only complain was that we had to wait very very long until the JU88 appeared above Tuapse!

For some reason the escorte left them, probably short on fuel!

At that point we could attack them, I think only 2 made it home for the schnapps.

My engine was damaged for at least 15 min and my fuel was so low that I was trying to reach the coast line as 2 109 appeared, I saved my skin and bailed out! I was out of ammo as well!

That was a long swim home!

 

We took new fighters to guard the transporters, after they landed we tried to intercept stuka`s, nothing but then we found 3 me 109, we could shoot down all three and lost one pilot!

Then we found the stuka`s, low on amma we pushed on!

The first I saw was Tip on a head on course!

Nice fighting, until we had all of you around us and I kissed a tree!

 

But we had tons of fun, thx

and have a good night!

Ummmm, “all of us” at that point was just me with no ammo for my forward guns, a severely wounded Tip who didn’t last long, and a wounded 109 against the two of you guys. We weren’t able to close with Tip quickly enough to save him. After he hit the dirt, I believe my gunner got you and, shortly after, Memphis got the other Yak. An intense fight for sure. Quite enjoyable.

Exactly! Even if supply runs aren't the most exciting missions in the world it still feels good to take one for the team and get the job done.

 

This event is more than just scoring the most points, thanks to the awesome feel of this campaign.

it was one of the days, maybe we are blind, or the russians have stealth capabilities

two sorties first from Krimskaya,second from Gelendzsik, Enemy contacts NONE!!!!! BUT YOU ARE THERE SEE THE PICS!

my russian comrades, especially the two Yaks over Gelendzsik, did you spot us.??? may be not , because we are still alive,

so enjoying the beautiful kuban map and then go to sleep, and wait for another day to come. horrido

About Kelenzik, our escort, told us they've to rtb. I saw them at twelve hight leaving. A few time after, NN_Oscar told us he's got to contacts in the area. I was surprise, but when i saw my gunner still smoking his french "gitane maïs", i wasn't any more worry. 

Why don't u try to attack us? We wasn't a efficient box.

Very nice mission for the Il-2s. Never felt so safe with so many fighters covering us, especially since the cover consisted of aces only! 

Also the coordination with the Pe2’s was very good this time.

 

First sortie was was not very successful for us, although we did hit some targets. The Pe2’s did a wonderful job taking out all remaining targets in that area in their second sortie. Well done!

 

Second sortie we set out to attack targets that were already destroyed by the Pe2’s in their first sortie, so we switched targets and hit the jackpot. At the same time we started our attack a convoy entered the town. The targets were destroyed in two passes after which we took care of the convoy in coordinance with our fighter escort. Unfortunately we must have missed a tank, because later we saw a message that tanks had reached the town.

 

We made it home in one piece, but just barely because our fuel almost ran out!

A good call by Nocke prevented us from falling out of the sky!

 

Thanks all for flying and a special thanks to our escort. I know these kind of missions are less exciting for you, but for us having you guys around makes all the difference between life and death!

Indeed the best and closest cover we ever had. And who spoils the party? The 109s, refusing to show up. Never thought I would miss them some day
