Atlan, thanks again for ure pics (i'm far to have the same quality cause of my harware...)

About Kelenzik, our escort, told us they've to rtb. I saw them at twelve hight leaving. A few time after, NN_Oscar told us he's got to contacts in the area. I was surprise, but when i saw my gunner still smoking his french "gitane maïs", i wasn't any more worry.

Why don't u try to attack us? We wasn't a efficient box.

Regards.

Because we are blind and we didn,t spot you ,as i told before shit happens.next time promised😎

Ummmm, “all of us” at that point was just me with no ammo for my forward guns, a severely wounded Tip who didn’t last long, and a wounded 109 against the two of you guys. We weren’t able to close with Tip quickly enough to save him. After he hit the dirt, I believe my gunner got you and, shortly after, Memphis got the other Yak. An intense fight for sure. Quite enjoyable.

Haha.... in my eyes I saw 3 stuka,1 me 109 and 1 FW190!

nevertheless... fun

nice to know the details after all

😁

and the escorte of the JU88?

Why did they leave??

Cheers Biggles

Excellent photos, 13! We were merrily going along bombing our targets when this massive explosion surprised everyone

We had a good evening escorting the Il-2s. Our coastal airfield did not have enough Yak-7s for everyone so we had to come in from different ways. Pod guided the group in and out of the hot zone without much fanfare, though we lost one aircraft to CFIT - controlled flight into terrain tree. We saw a beautiful formation of Pe-2s fly over us en route to target, and they proceeded under the protection of Jizzo and The Exchange Pilot (codename Schuck) while the rest of us went home along with the Il-2s. The closest we got to action was a call from 1.JaVA who had been engaging a bomber formation near Tuapse. We took an intercept course, climbed to 5000m on full power but saw nothing, and our fuel state dictated we had to land. Meanwhile, over land Schuck and Jizzo encountered a single Bf-109 going home. A mystery, for sure. Thanks to approaching too hot and overly liberal use of brakes, four out of five intact Yak-7s suffered bent propellers on the roll-out - Alex was the only one to spare his mechanic a late-night shift, but the other four will need some work done to the engines.

After a briefing, we went out for our second target, this time with three older Yak-1s in the mix to make up for the losses. Razor provided us with great intel on the target so we arrived with a clear picture in our head, and got working quickly. After striking our primary targets, a convoy was spotted rolling into the city, and we obliterated all but apparently one vehicle before heading home. Once again, CFITree claimed one Il-2 but everyone else landed in an orderly manner and without bending props this time.

Fun mission, even if the 109s didn't come out to play!

Well launching 2 Fab 250 @ something like 650 km/h is probably not the cheapest way to get rid of a warehouse ... but at least it work very well

And provided that i ve often  been surprised in the Fnbf by very tough  targets ... 2 is better than one ! ^^

Please put me down for a Yak-7.  I will try to get a few more from 56sqn as I know some tried the Yak-7 for the first time a few days ago and quite liked it.

I have given them 3 hours to check their mails but only one has responded so please can you add 56RAF_Cina to the Yak-7 roster?     Thanks.

Just watch,  now they will all start responding one by one asking me to come here and ask for a slot for them.  They have done it before
