For now the first 4 missions in a row are just converted and tied up … Now I need a bit of extra spare time to take some in game screenshots. Ahhhhh, If only I had the photography skills of @Mysticpuma or @Soto_Cinematics, just to name a few🙄

An update, for those interested, on The DFLion Big Show Campaign.

This week I completed the chronological assembly of DFLion's excellent missions. I took some screenshots in game for the .PNG accompanying the individual missions and I also added the "success" instruction a few seconds after the player's takeoff. This will allow to move on to the next mission without the need to complete any particular mission objective. No other structural changes have been made to DFLion's original missions.  I have sent my work to the author for due supervision and any changes he deems necessary to make.

I read Pierre Clostermann's book at the age of 8 as I believe many of you do. From that reading at a very young age my passion for everything related to air warfare in WW2 was born. Airfix and Humbroll filled my days and smeared my fingers . Big cardboard boxes and an old stool became my Spitfire or "Le Grand Charles" while with my imagination I shot down entire Focke Wulfs Jagdgeschwaders in heated dogfights...

I have continued with that passion until now in my 60s (the cardboard boxes and the stool have been replaced by the PC and VR in the meantime and the Airfix have given way to new and much more complex and detailed kits and RC Planes, but the passion has remained the same.

I flew and really appreciated the The Big Show Campaign on the old and glorious IL2 1946 and I think it deserved a porting on IL2 Great Battles. hence my very modest contribution to the great work already done by DFLion.(Thanx so much M8!)

I hope he will find it of some use and will want to share it with you, the community.

Really looking forward to this! I'll admit i tried to put the missions in order myself but without the book it was hopeless. Hopefully a few missions are updated with skins for the Free french squadron spits, mouchotte, clostermann, etc now that those are available.

Just saw a YouTube video posted on Reddit, where someone is playing this campaign. 
 

I’d love to try it out too!

Yes, that's me playing the campaign.

I understand @DFLion is still working/adding to it. perhaps him and @SARFlytitus would also like to have you test it 🙂
