Hetzer_II Posted December 25, 2024 Posted December 25, 2024 It would be a lot of work, but I think with all the newly implemented engine variants for the 109, Mig, P40 it would be time to map these options in the app. An engine selection or separate entries would make sense. Comparing a 1943 109 f4 with a 1940 mig3 is kind of pointless. 1

So, the game allows me to fly with the best Mods in every mission of my Career, even if I am not a unit commander. And then what do I care to compare a 109 F-4 Without Modification with a MiG-3, when I can fight with a 109 F-4 with the best Mods? Bye. 1
Sturmalex Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Lovely tool! Thanks a truckload marcobona! Back in the day I LOVED the IL2Compare app. This is the spiritual successor to me. 1 1
JMax Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Thank you for this app. I use this alot for the "compare planes" feature, and really enjoy it. Recently I have been flying the TA 152 and wishing it was listed - I didnt realize you updated the app! THANKS.😎 1 1
Youtch Posted March 15 Posted March 15 I said it already, but worth saying again, your app has become the wikipedia of IL2! I am currently using it to calculate in default aircraft configuration the mass/second of projectiles fired, to create a ratio vs standard weight, and this is then helping me to configure Force Feedback Back in the joystick in a much more realistic way between the different planes! Many thanks for this. 1 1

Youtch Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Hello Marco, I have been recompiling for a Force Feedback project all the type of configurations of weapons Machine Guns/Cannons that can be set-up in the game per aircraft. In some cases, I realised that the text description was not always matching what was actually available in the game. IL2 aircrafts configurations.zip Maybe this information is of your interest. y.
Youtch Posted March 25 Posted March 25 (edited) Also, 7.92mm Browning MG .303 does not exist, it was 7.7 mm Browning MG .303 The version below also includes the listing of all configurations and weapon specs IL2 WW2 aircraft weapons.zip Edited March 25 by Youtch

Hanu Posted June 11 Posted June 11 Could you pin this topic @LukeFF This is sooooo great application for mission makers to get appropriate skins / bases / squadrons for your missions. And more. 1 1
GrungyMonkey Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Any chance we could get data for different engine/fuel setups? As it stands it's tough to tell what state the planes are being represented in.

As written in the first page of this thread: Remember, all IAS, Rate of Climb and Sustained Turn Rate values are achieved in these conditions: IAS values - Kuban autumn map with no wind, no clouds at 12.00 time. - Best engine and best mods applied. - Standard load for fighters, fighter bombers/attackers; no bombs load for bombers; no cargo for transports. Rate of Climb values - Kuban autumn map with no wind, no clouds at 12.00 time. - Best engine and best mods applied. - Standard load for fighters, fighter bombers/attackers; standard bombs load for bombers; standard cargo for transports. Sustained Turn Rate Values - Kuban autumn map with no wind, no clouds at 12.00 time. - Best engine and best mods applied. - Standard load for fighters, fighter bombers/attackers; standard bombs load for bombers; standard cargo for transports. Furthermore, if you hover the mouse pointer over each value, you will see the conditions under which that value was obtained. Edited June 15 by marcobona

Okay then but is it possible we could get an option to see different values? I've never flown the P-51b with 70% fuel and 81 inches MP. I'd rather see how in performs with 30-40% fuel and 61-67 inches.

What you are asking for involves too much work and too much data to be provided for each plane in this App, which was created solely to help players play better. Bye.

Roland_HUNter Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Yak 3 stall speed is wrong. Indicated stall speed in flight configuration: 152..160 km/h Indicated stall speed in takeoff/landing configuration: 136..141 km/h You added the landing stall not the flight.
