Honestly, the biggest need in engine variants is to have some weaker engined allied two-seaters (especially the Sopwith Strutter) in order to ensure there will be at least a few targets that Central Powers aircraft can catch.

I agree, a lot of planes had different engine variants with significant performances changes

For the Spad 13C1, we need the 200, and 235 hp variants, for instance

One of the most important is the SPAD VII.  The 150 HP is a late 1916 plane.  The 180 HP served well into 1918.  I remember Red Baron modeling the 180 HP version and introducing it in Oct 1916.  Not fun taking that thin on in an Eindecker.

In ROF both were available

I hope it will be the same in FCII

Already confirmed in the announcement of FC.II as I recall, though they are only showing the 150HP version so far. But as I recall the Fokker D.VII and VIIF were not released in the same patch for Vol.1, so needn't worry.

Because we are going backwards in time the 180 is more important than the 150 for FCII.  The 150 won't really be needed until we get earlier into 1917.

Yes, Jason confirmed both the 150 and 180 HP versions are coming:

Not sure which is coming first, or if they are even going to have different models, though.

Seeing as the D.VII/VIIF as well as the Bristol and Halberstadt all have separate aircraft for each engine, I'd expect that for all the future ports. What I wonder about is what they will do for new aircraft or new engine varients added, will they follow that precedent.
