It doesn't have to be exactly "capture the flag".Eventually the fastest allied tanks will be able to surround the enemy, especially if the distance between bases is great. The forms of victory could be different, such as destroying ground forces close to the base. But in this case, unfortunately Germany will need bases closer to the goal than the Reds. The maps need to be considered in terms of the T-34 to double the speed of the Panzer, so as not to always leave the game with Germany on the defensive because of the infinite Spawn and the slowness of the panzers. Ways to win-rules. 1 Capture de flag (Clássic). 2 Killing enemy tanks (need limited spawns). 3 Destroying some ground objective. In this case, the German objectives need to be closer to the German base. Lately battles are favoring Team Red, which ... even with only good light tanks, manages to win because by spawning endlessly throughout the battle the speed of the T-34 helps a lot to surround and capture the bases, because the Panzer does half the speed of the T-34 off the road. Captured the flags and destroyed everything in it's way. Map made for the reds or blues? Lol. Usually the tanks most used are the Pz-IV and T-34. Panther is limited. You guys win because you play as a team and attack the respawn. With the 34 is much more easy drive through the forest and attack the spawn.

I really like your server. I find the dynamics of battles cool, interesting, challenging, need navigation and teamwork to win. But we have few players for tank-exclusive servers like "EFront" or "Advance". It will be a very big job to transform the tank simulator into something popular as the IL-2 franchise is, but I think tanks are the future for this segment of simulators in addition to attracting a different audience. I just hope for balanced missions, as far as possible ...

In Air we have planes that can out climb or out dive, out turn or out run. But I do agree the T34’s seem a little too fast for the reality at the time.
super-truite Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 from what I have seen on my server, the main driver for victory is the attitude of the team. Each time I play russian, I find people that alternate between flanking and frontal pushes and group together which ends up working most of the time. I prefer in general to play german because I like their tanks more but it proved often more fun to play as russian because of teamplay. I think the asymmetry in the tank armor/guns between red and blue pushes germans to defend and russians to get clever and organise and flank which is a working tactic so far. The germans might start defending the flag rear and protect the flanks better at some point and it will get tougher to go though. Coordination is really the key. If the teams were equally organized, this would be another story and the germans would probably win more games. What I wanted to do on my server at the beginning is to balance with more AI for the reds and limited weapons for german attack planes because I thought the reds would lose most of the time, but it is not the case. IMO it does not make sense to overthink the balance because the game can be won quite easily on both sides providing a bit of tactical organization.
