I tried that already, still didn't work. And yes, any plane, any mission in single player. Didn't try MP for this test. I decided to reinstall it. Fresh install worked initially but after the first mission the problem came back. Uninstalled Tobruk. Problem still occurs with Blitz on its own. Then after reinstalling only Blitz and having Steam recreate the whole 1C folder, it worked with lower resolution 1080p and lower frequency (60 Hz instead of 144 Hz, when the problem was ocurring). Left epilepsy filter ON. Worked. Raised resolution to 1440p, worked. Turned epilepsy filter OFF, problem returned (still in 2560x1440 60 Hz). Apparently caused by something else though. Repeated the tests at 60 Hz (1440p) with Blitz only with epilepsy filter ticked and unticked, no problems. Reinstalled Tobruk still using 1440p and 60 Hz for resolution (instead of 144 Hz), problems seem to have gone away. Apparently I have pinpointed the cause to the 144 Hz in the resolution. Using 60 Hz seems to be stable now. The weird thing is, 144 Hz was working this afternoon before the patch. Or maybe I didn't notice the problem for wahtever reason. Yeah, I did that as a matter of course after the update so that's not the cause of this. It's not just the Cannon sounds either, its the MG as well. 2
TWC_WalMart Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Has anyone else flying a Beaufighter had a bug where the bombs will not release, sometimes they do but mostly they dont, I will do an outside view before take off and release them and it works but as soon as I take a new plane and take off they usually wont drop.

I had this first time out but only times since it has happened is if I went into the observer cockpit then back to front cockpit. It is possible that this was also why the first time did it (I didnt note if I had jumped cockpits). Its not the only plane that gets confused if you use multiple cockpits (wellington bomb doors muck about). Apparently you maybe able to fix by using alt f2. However the one time I tried it, I was left flying beaufighter from rear seat and facing the tail or from external view. So I guess I did something wrong (plenty have people have tried explaining how, I guess I am the old dog in tyhe new tricks department). 1

No.54_Reddog Posted August 16, 2020 Posted August 16, 2020 I found a couple of wierd things. 1) South Africa appears to be by default in the Blue army in the FMB. Shouldn't it be in the Red? 2) flying from Awdyat ash Ahiyah on a course of 300 for about 30-40 minutes I came across a North -south straight line issue. Looks like there is a terrain heightmap issue and what I could see was very straight 'ramp' extending as far as the eye could see. I can't give exact coords as it's (to quote General Melchett) "a barren featureless desert out there".

Between 200 and 300 the discrepancy is higher and from 300 to 350 it's rather small but still present. For example here the speed indicator reports 230 mph and the hover label 210 mph In this case the speed indicator shows around 258 mph but the label tells 220 mph. Got a response that they would be looking into it but that the tool tip should be correct. Which as the dial was showing nearly 300mph whilst cruise I guess bears it out. As does a couple of navigation exercises I did over the sea. The tool tip seems much closer to game reality.
ATAG_Flare Posted August 17, 2020 Posted August 17, 2020 Found a fix for the Wellington bomb doors, my toggle key was not working (it was opening then closing right away as other have mentioned) but clicking on the silver handle on the left of the cockpit to open the doors worked to open them!

I've had this too, but in a 109. I thought it was hardware related, so checked my stick, should work ok, but still got this trigger jamming every now and then. Edit: some more information, I have Virpil WarBRD with the Mongoost T50 grip. I've set the dual-stage trigger so that first detent is machine guns and second stage is machine guns & cannon. Tritsch Posted August 19, 2020 Posted August 19, 2020 This game is great but i noticed some problems on my soft which are: - Sometimes my rudders are moving alone without orders. - The Bf 109 F sound is not very good and it would be better to keep the same as 109 E. - My radiaor in bf 109 F still always full open, maybe it's due to hit.... - In D520 the comand in cockpit for breaks and trigger are upside down. - in general all MG 20 mm are not enough efficiant. After that I really enjoy it! :-)

When leaving a server in MP and then pressing Refresh in the server browser causes the list not to update but make a duplicate list below the original. Exiting to previous menu and coming back clears it and refreshes normally. Missing hit sounds in MP. Attacked a target on TFS #3. AAA was apparently firing, but there were no puffs or tracers. Suddenly damage list went bananas and screen blacked out as pilot died. But there were no hit sounds at all.
=FEW=Hauggy Posted August 19, 2020 Posted August 19, 2020 (edited) Found a bunch of graphical issues with the Martlet. The pitot probe doesnt seem to connect to the wing from inside the cockpit. The air filter handle is missing a part and dissapears once pushed or pulled. Third one is what happens when the planes flips over which happens to me a lot not sure if the breakes are supposed to be that strong. Last thing i'm not sure but the mixture handle might be inverted as 100% mix pushes the handle towards auto lean and 0% towards auto rich. Also the mirrors dont seem to work for me anymore since recently I might need to clear my cache. Edited August 19, 2020 by =FEW=Hauggy

Over France everything looks superb for me, but in the desert, where less objects are, I have a little shimmer effect over roofs of houses/top of walls/top of rock formations. So, I am using the Nvidia 1060 and tried different ingame settings, including FXAA and SMAA. Should I use the Nvidia System setup for this game specificly and if yes - how? Any references? Thanks

If your using buttons for brakes try using the full left and full right brake buttons instead of the single button for just brakes.Reason is that the brake button goes to 100% braking force instantly while the left/right brake buttons only do %50 percent so you will have much easier braking. 1

Thanks Do you have "Anisotropic Sample Optimization" enabled in NVCP? Try to deactivate it first within specified NV game setting. There are a few more things for tweaking but I'm not at home/PC right now. Can give you my settings later if you want. 1

I did all the things, unfortunally it did not changed anything but forced the game to crash two times
