It's VERY matte... have you thought of manipulating the Alpha channel a little? It really does wonders for the end product.

Hello,

I am aware that my Skins are too dull but I am a beginner and I can not use the Alpha channel with Gimp.

I am taking advice.

however if I make my skin a little brighter, it will be moderately because I find that often the skins are too bright and cause the use of flickers in the game.

?

That could also be due to the Alpha as well. Unfortunately I don't use GIMP so I can't give you any tips there but it's DEFINITELY possible to manipulate the Alpha in there.

To use the alpha channel with GIMP(2.10) you have to work on the Alpha template separately and paste it in to your skin as a mask. Then export to dds.

 

If you have questions PM me. The tutorial above is a bit outdated and confusing if using newer versions of GIMP.

Good skin but this was done using an old redundant template.  Please use the official 4K template from here as it has new tyres and panel layout that matches the stock normalmaps.

Here is a new skin for Bodenplate with a nice decoration
This Fw 190 A-8 from 8 / JG26 at the end of 1944 was abandoned at Melsbroek in Belgium.
This plane was trapped and exploded when US soldiers tried to move it, killing several of them

Here is a good start to the year for an FW190A8 from the IVJG54 in November 1944 for BOBP.

I still have a few in reserve that I had made for my personal use. Then I will switch to other planes from BOPB, BOS and BOK.
A beautiful year full of beautiful flights to all.

I usually don' ask for requests, but this is one A-8, Black 7.  I would love to see it made into a skin and fly in Great Battles. JG 300 one of my favorite units.

I included yellow 17 for a more defined camouflage reference since most aircraft in this unit were very similar.
