I have recently started getting errors from different objects in LUAscripts world objects, upon running a mission. I do not think I have changed anything my end. Have you custom LUA script files being used? If not, could you share your LUAScript folder? Thx

And which map you had selected? Just did an integrity check on all my templates and did not find errors on world objects. In 41 Sqn we are starting to put together some more historical mission types with a view to emulating the Squadron ORB for the Normandy/Rheinland timeframe. I like the variety of targets that are available. Is there any way to include a menu box for the base airfield as this would lend itself to the mobile airfield concept as applied in 2TAF? With the ability to fly a number of mission types from the order of ALGs as recorded in the unit's ORB we can trace 41 Sqn's historic progress. To make a menu list of base airfields is quite a bit of work I would imagine. Any thoughts? Thanks for your consideration.

I cannot select either varient of the BF-110 on any map as either a flyable or an AI aircraft. Can you double check and see if I am correct? S! Grey Vander, disregard my last post. The 110's I found are listed as Fighters, not as Bomber. Im wrong.

Need to configure all available airfields per map & front line. I have one question. Is there any combination of dates, mission types etc, that will put bases on the far western part of the Kuban map, specifically in the Kerch strait/Taman area? It's a visually good looking part of that map that really doesn't see much use, and a couple of our guys asked if it was somehow possible. Cheers.

Not at the moment, but I'm thinking about adding/moving more front lines. Kuban is indeed a great map and needs a bit more variation. When I added Kuban in the beginning I didn't have the system in place to do this. 1 1

The mountains look great, but there are no airfields and targets you can use unless you go for a huge area. Besides, any battles there would have taken place in the winter 42/43 and we don't have a winter version.... 1

There is a wonderful winter map repaint but one would need to be amenable to mods. Might I suggest it be made an option and the user could either consider it a "fictional" mission using the stock maps or, using the winter repaint, a more historical mission? Just a thought. I agree that Southeast Kuban is one of the most beautiful places currently in the Great Battles world.

Note this means you have to install a custom skin in the correct aircraft folder to be able to select it in the tool. Release Notes v33 -Added custom skin support. For Single- and Coop missions custom skins can be selected for Blue and Red flight -Added all countries to all theatres so you can override default country setting and language being spoken on radio -Randomized distance to first wp of Enemy AI patrol. In the DF missions I generate with the EMG, AI bomber formations seem to respawn for as long as we run the mission, but the AI fighters do not, once their flight is shot down that's it, no more enemy fighters. Is there a way to keep the AI fighters (or bombers for that matter) respawning at regular intervals no matter how long the mission runs? I have tried to understand the AI timer, etc MCUs when I open a mission in the mission builder, but, sadly, all it does is make my head explode. 1

No, the fighters are the same as for single & coop. If we want perpetual fighters, I have to create a new group for that, but remember they can not fly in formations anymore. It’s a limitation of the current spawn implementation of IL2. The bombers may look as if they fly in formation, but they are just a bunch of single planes which happen to follow the same waypoints. littlepe Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 Hi Vander - thanks for reply. After creating a mission in the Generator - The only way I can get the mission to appear in the game under 'Mission' is to load it in the editor and then 'save as' under a different name. I then played it and it worked perfectly. I then used the generator to create a different mission. Went into the game - but the 'Syn-gen' mission had not changed from the first. I went back to the editor and once again did the 'save-as' - went back into the game and it had changed to the new mission which loaded OK. When I tried to generate a Rhineland bombing mission - the only aircraft it offers me are the HE 111 H16 (which is a Kuban map a/c) or the JU88 (which is a Moscow map a/c) - neither of which I have. Forgive me if any of this is newbie error stuff - I am elderly and not completely tech savvy. ;-)
