a small nitpick, don´t get me wrong, just meant to make your work even better. Robert Weiss was leading III. Group/JG54, not IV. Group/JG54 and Dortenmann was flying from Oldenburg, not Oldenberg. Otherwise excellent skinning work, as usual!

Just a bit of silliness... no skin but a nice cup of tea! Anyone got any burning requests for any skins then just sing out!! Any plane, not this one in particular (although I CAN do one for the Camel... obviously... because I have, here!).

However.... If you are up for a singular custom scheme. (that no one else will want) I won't say no to the plane I learned how to fly in.

Yes, It would be an odd Fokker, and I leave it your interpretation of how to apply that scheme.  I am fond of the WWI hexagons pattern on the wings, I had some ideas, but we can discuss when your ready.   Thanks for your consideration.

Messerschmitt Bf 110

 

 

What it says in the title really.

This is a 4k upgrade to the default in - game skin that is in 2k and was done as a request (and was really kind of fun to do!). It was flown by Hans-Joachim Jabs in or around 1941 in France as far as I know. It is kind of difficult to be sure as he flew quite a number of variations of the Bf 110 during the war and all in different liveries.

He was originally trained as a Bf 109 pilot incidentally.

'Treppe' - 'Volwinkel' Hybrid

A request involving the noseart of  the E2 'Volwinkel' applied to the 'Treppe' livery of the G2

both of which are default skins already in - game.

Bf110 G2 12./SG77

Ostfront 1943

At least one StG 77 Bf 110 was transferred to Stab./NAG1 with the Kennzeichen Q1+VB and still retaining the Totenhand emblem on the nose. There is a photo of this machine, which has been widely circulated, and for this reason the Totenhand emblem has been mistakenly attributed to Stab. NAG 1.

It's weird though... when you're actually IN it it doesn't feel like you're going all that fast and then, before you know it, you're at something above 600 kph!! (I use MPH meself but then I AM old enough to warrant it!!).

It's very hard to judge your speed when everything is so far away. You need to get lower. Even a dainty little Sopwith will feel quick when you're trying to weave through trees
