Wire transfer services like Western Union don't like doing business with Ukraine. I bank with Navy Federal, and it has taken less than 5 business days for the transfer to go through each time. I'm in EU and I paid him with TransferWise, the transfer was near instantaneous (same day or +1 day if I remember correctly), and the fee was less than 10€ for a >400€ throttle. I can recommend it. 1
Dutchvdm Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Hi Guys, I'm extremely late with this one, but wanted to post a quick message here that i'm super happy with the throttle that i bought from GVL. This is my unit. Communication and delivery went very well and i can really recommend it! Especially if you're looking for something with a WW2 look instead of the more modern looking stuff that is offered by the other brands. Thanks again! Grt M 2 1
BladeMeister Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 (edited) I am very excited, thanks to the help of an anonymous good Samaritan, you know who you are, my order for my custom designed Trim Console is in the que. Now I just have to hurry up and wait around 3 months for Vitaly to construct it. All joking aside, to be able to design this Trim Console the way I want it is really awesome. I will be saving money during this time to place my order for my custom throttle. Can't Wait! Thanks to Vitaly and again to my anonymous technical assistant. ZachariasX Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 Hi @GVL224 is there any throttle quadrant you have made for four engined propliners, like the Connie or DC-6?

Hello. I do not make a throttle for a specific aircraft, I make a throttle according to the customer's sketches, taking into account my technological capabilities. Show the sketch and I can tell you how similar I can make it in hardware 1

Dagwoodyt Posted August 15, 2021 Posted August 15, 2021 Bought this unit from original owner in October 2018 and it has served me well until last week. Il-2 BoX now refuses to recognize the gray throttle lever and I am seeing an x-rotation axis in Win10 but cannot access it. Is there any way for me to service this unit myself and how to arrange for servicing if not?

The main reason for axle loss is wire breakage or loss of contact on the connector. Check all wires for continuity, disconnect and reconnect all contacts.

Everything looks fine inside except for a bare lead as pictured. I cannot find any plastic housing that the lead might have escaped from so i guess it is "factory" and of no concern relative to throttle function. I am thinking there may be a problem at the throttle sensor(?). I am guessing that any wires inside the throttle handle would relate to the rocker switch and not to throttle axis calibration. After reassembly there is no change. Throttle axis range is still less than the 100% it used to have.

Most likely this unused wire was related to buttons or toggle switches and should be connected to the controller board. I did not quite understand that it does not work correctly, the axes are all there, but on one is not the full range? if so then perhaps you need to calibrate the axes in Windows gaming devices.

Thanks! You are correct. It took several tries but I was eventually able to calibrate the throttle axis to get full range back. 1
Beaufort Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 Hi, I bought the nova throttle from GVl and was looking for some instruction to tighten the tension of the throttle as the weight of the throttle handle is too much . The throttle slips from 60% to 100% travel on its own because it is too loose. This is the throttle I bought : Any help is much appreciated.

Good question , I have same problem with my custom build from GVL.
Beaufort Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 I have managed to tighten the throttle on the Nova. It was quite an easy fix. After you take the top plate off there are 2 bolts either side of the throttle assembly and you simply tighten (clockwise) or loosen (anti clockwise). Hope this helps you @1PL-Husar-1Esk. 1

The touch, precision and quality of the materials used are great. So far I had owned the X52 Pro, X55 Rhino and while they worked fine for me while using them, they are unmatched by the GVL model. Also say that the treatment has been very kind and professional by Vitaly. If there is someone who has doubts about ordering their own personal jewel, do not hesitate, they will not regret it. 1 5

Please consult Vitaly for pricing and design capability. This is his basic design, and I added a few switches, the rotary and one lever. I simply rearranged what I thought was a magnificent original design to suit my personal needs. Vitaly is the one working the magic to make this happen. S!Blade<>< 3
