The flowers download consisted of 11 files all unnamed and without indication of what types of files they are. I use jsgme to load mods but don't understand the direction to build a jsgme ready mod file. Any additional help is appreciated.

Hi TheSNAFU FIRST you MUST download and install the original grass texture mod from FF*VaSoK*22 and only after pick one of my textures , renaming it "summer grass texture" and copy over the folder of the original mod allowing overwriting! The mod will work without FF*VaSoK*22 mod, as my install on May_Bugs "Green moscow Map" does not have the "VaSok Summer grass texture .dds". You will have to re name the dds texture file you select to "Summer grass texture.dds" and place in (JSGME) Mods/Folder named by yourself/data/graphics/Grass/Textures/Summer grass texture.dds folder structure. Was certainly possible in ROF: - although I never refined it enough to be worth making a download available for others, I'd been tinkering with my original flower mod and got it to the stage I could have ferns and bluebells under the trees and in the woodlands, poppies in the cornfields and scrubby weeds on "brownfield" sites. I don't know how easy it is to get at the raw code for this updated game engine but in ROF the game read the colour of the underlying ground texture to decide which sort of "grass" texture to apply. So by tweaking the sensitivity with which the code differentiated different hues on the ground and by repainting the ground textures where needed to emphasise different hues I'd gone from one standard grass texture to about a half a dozen for different locations. Once Flying circus is released and I can get back into the cockpit of my beloved camel I'll have a reason to consider mods for this updated game engine so I may start tinkering with my sky/ground/environmental mods again to see what I can or can't achieve. If different flowers in different places can be achieved that could add even more to the overall look and feel. The mod as it is makes such a subtle but big difference. While in BoX VR we shutdown the grass to zero in the start.cfg file to keep the FPS high and straight. ? But I do like the flowers aspect, I only think because the 2D modeling, it was maybe better to keep the grass length low, so you do no notice that weird looking 2D effect.
