To make this Dev Blog a bit less dry, here are some WIP Aircobra screenshots - you can already see it in the game engine. This one is going to be really interesting and we'll tell you about it in detail in our next news update.
................
Aaand, of course, we continue the 'surprise month'. This Work-In-Progress video is worth a thousand words:

This update will really be massive! The beta test will surely take a lot more time than the usual 2 weeks I guess. Seems like next release will be Il2 3.0!

Great work guys!

Absolutely incredible work on the rain effects.

Every new introduction in tech seems to take it a step further than anybody else in the industry.

Way to go team!

One thing I'm a little unclear on: Is DServer going to be required for the new co-op mode or will it function similarly to ROF?

The way this team works and communicates is truly a gold standard that the industry should look to replicate. It really puts some of the bigger companies that have 1000s of employees and can't find anyone to communicate completely to shame.

I feel like i have stolen this game.

I will do a give away next payday.

I tip my hat.

Great developments as always. Excellent to see the first P-39 shots, they look really promising :)

I am sitting here at home, it's raining cats and dogs outside

but the new Il-2 rain, thát is really stunning and should be fun to fly in.

Next video could be a re-run of that IL-2 Demo mission from back then, flying a P-39 in heavy

rain, trying to shoot down a flight of Ju-88's

Ah Yes, those were the good ol' days

Pick up a T.16000m.

They're like $25-30 on sale and I believe they're the only stick in that price range with a HALL sensor.

The P-39 looks great. Can't wait to fly it!  :good:

Also that you added rain animation is fantastic! Since the impact on visibility is so large in the video I'm assuming it's a heavy rainfall being simulated right?

Wow, just wow.  Really exiting stuff coming down the pike.  I hope that the stuff they have slated, they are able to implement.

This is the most excited for this overall project that I've been since the initial announcement.

I have talked two of my friends into buying BoM when it was on sale and hopefully will be able to get more on board.
