Yes, I already understood how to do it.

I got the RUD 3x5 (see previous page) to replace my old G940 throttle, and I'm very very happy about it. Very precise (the side elevator trim is very smooth), and lots of buttons (well, 32). It took three weeks to travel from Ukraine to France, but it arrived safe and sound (thanks to the generous bubble wrap around the throttle).

Thanks again!

Thanks for the feedback.
I'm glad that you liked my product.

Oh, just an addition as I had a mail asking about it: I spoke about the side trim, which is very nice. But I'd like to point out that IL2 BOS doesn't support it, except for the 109 - I knew it, but I also use the trim with IL2 1946 (yes, I still fly it with my fellow squad members). For a specific IL2 BOS configuration, encoders will be better (or hat switch, but it's not very immersive). It seems to me that in a previous post, Vitalij has said he could also include encoders.

Best regards,

Ogier

I have ordered "IL2 Sturmovik" throttle from GVL224 but with encoders instead of potentiometers in 2 grey trim wheels because of this reason.:salute:

I have to say that your workmanship on these beautiful throttles is remarkable. I am very impressed, and I think I would definitely like to work with you to design something for myself. This is some seriously beautiful work.

Have you ever considered doing flight stick grips as well?

Thanks for the nice words on my products.
I think, but for the simulator of motor boats on request.

Can I PM you with some ideas about a throttle quadrant? Can you do 4-way hat switches?

Yes, of course, but it's better for me to e-mail gvl224@ukr.net.
For four fixed positions, I can do the mechanics, but the information will be read by the MagPes sensor, not the microswitches.
On microswitches only up to 3 positions.

I think you are talking about these:

He is talking about a Hat Switch, like this:

Now I realized that I did not read it right, I was used to questions about mechanics.
Hut switches I have not used, in the plans there is a priming of such switches ..

You sounds like master Yoda☺️

Probably because of translator.

And good looking throttles you have.

Have to say I have had a GVL224 throttle quartet for a month or so now, I can attest to the quality of the workmanship. Really didnt regret buying it, they are fantastic!

@GVL224, have you thought of creating a P-51-style throttle? Seems like it would be a easy one to create (perhaps with a simplified bracket attachment):

I will not do this mechanics.
Handles with the adaptation for installation on my mechanics I can do.
But I need the size of the handle more accurately.

The only thing I've been able to find so far are some images from one of the manuals. Not sure if this would be a help or not:

If the exact dimensions of the handle are not present, then I propose to use the diameter as on my handles (50mm), and the length 110mm.

That would probably be fine. I searched all over trying to find the exact dimensions but didn't find anything.

@GVL224 Received the Throttle. It's amazing! It's working perfectly and has everything I need. Thanks a lot!:good:

i received these throttle components from @GVL224 with the intentions of creating my own throttle quadrant with the mmjoy32 software.

20180701_063643.jpg

the components from @GVL224 are really top notch and are really easy to use in DIY projects, i got some different switches and made the box from MDF board painted it up and this is the final product.

20180707_221404.jpg

@GVL224 could have made a much cleaner looking throttle quadrant than i did at pretty close to the same price but i enjoy having projects. If any one is looking to do a DIY throttle quadrant or just looking a throttle quadrant i really recommend @GVL224's products.

The outer part of handle  turn over the inside part - that contains the microphone button, for allow adjust range of K-14 gunsight.

Thank you.
I understood the principle of the grip, this I can do with the adaptation to the installation of my "RUD" mechanics.

If I understand you correctly, there is one keypress entered at each end of the movement of this lever?

Posted

Yes, microswitches are installed at the extreme positions.
While the lever is in the end position, the microswitch is closed.

Moustache length doesn't pile up with your screen dimensions !
