Quick question to understand the rules: 

 

I thought when you ditched your AK and GK were still counted. Is that correct? In the manual it says 

 

 

 

 All AK/GK are counted if you end your sortie alive (no killed, captured or disco).

 

So in this sortie here I got a GK then ditched on the runway back at my airfield. But on my profile I still have zero GK.

 

Is it a bug or am I just misunderstanding the rules?

The red side flew the last wars with brilliant coordination. At least this is the explaination for the success and not the allaged better planes.

 

The ratio of registration is not very important. Attendance and cooperation is decisive.

Don't know about that.. Flew 4 attack missions to the same target alone and unescorted yesterday and only once was there a lone Luftwaffe fighter present. Luftwaffe always seems to outnumber the VVS, but god knows where they actually are.

What the campaign victory conditions are. Has it changed from the previous 5 as there are now more maps.

I think the answer is that the win conditions are the same as last time, first to 5 wins, which means the campaign could go between 5 and 9 maps (5-0 or 5-4 result or in between). I guess this makes it "best of 9" technically.

Numbers have never mattered on this server (one of the reasons i like it!)

Just fly your own mission, neither side fly as one great 'Big Wing', so the chances of bumping into 50 enemy aircraft is zero!

Last night the map was a stalemate, and the Germans out numbered the Russians 3 to 1. But the Russians were 

sneaky little buggers and flew around the targets and avoided the German fighters to attack from behind.

I flew for over an hour and never saw an enemy plane at all, and enjoyed every minute!

It was head on. I have more luck and lost only coolant, he got black smoke (probably burning). Finally we both were out of combat, but ... I've bailed out later (20:44:47) than he died (20:44:23).

So  .... in what way he got "in flight" status, when I got "bailed out" ? Moreover, he got one combat mission.

 

Strange thing, don't you think ?

i initially registered as Russ to fly bombers, however my first (and main) loves are the H111 and JU88 so I decided to create a new registration in TAW (diff u/name and email) and changed my profile name in IL2 BOS to match. However when I tried to fly a H111 I got the message that 'your account is locked' and got booted out of the server!! wtf?? Eventually I changed my login back and logged in as my original u/name to fly for the VVS again and got a time penalty for changing sides. However my 2nd login seems to have my flight (or me sitting in an a/c) recorded.

 

Can we not fly using a diff profile?

I tried to register with my il2 name "Netscape" and it said it was taken/already in use... So I went with "Netscape Navigator" my usual steam handle. I realized after getting kicked 3 times the names have to match up derp.. (thought there might be some sync via email or something). So tried it again, says email is already used... of course it is. heh.

 

WOL is down/glitched out. And I don't like the credit/economy system of Random Expert server. And I can't register on TAW... just wanting to play again...

This is worth being looked at by Kathon, but if it eases any concerns it seems that sortie awarded a combat mission then swiftly took it away upon being killed...but still displayed "+1CM" on the website. Additionally, that i16 he was killed in was his last and the concurrent sorties after did not count ("NOT VALID PLANE"). I think the +1CM you're seeing is simply a display error on the website, but the proper amount of stats are being recorded correctly.

 

EDIT: Actually, for my theory to be correct he would not have any i16's available right now, but he has 1 left. So, I'm not sure.

Yes but you will not earn new plane just because your garage is full.

The manual is saying clearly and also it was said many times at this topic:

No double accounts, you can only fly at one side.Two accounts=ban. If you want change side you need to ask Kathon to delete your wrong account and then you may register again.

Getting critical mass in my TIMEZONE has been really messed up. No one is in TAW TS and flying alone is not fun. It is really hard for pickup players to fly if safely no one is using the TAW teamspeak server. I also thing the BOM only plane set is killing the momentum of the server.

No. Lets say you have full hangar of planes and status of 2/3 and you suddenly lost one plane. After mission you can see that you need to do one CM to get it back. Answer is NO , we will not change this CM status. Edited December 1, 2016 by =L/R=Leutnant_Artur

Sad to hear that theres small amount of pilots flying in your time zone but we can do nothing about it.

 

About planeset BOM/BOS. We have answered this questions many many maaany times and we dont want to change it. We want to make it as much historical as we can at the moment with a little bit of lets call it "equal gameplay".

Isn't it time to buy BOM ? There are lots od dicounts this time and we have tons of fun flying classic dogfights between i-16 and E7.
