B-26 pics would be nice... or pics of those drop tanks... or updated C-47 or Mossie cockpit shots... Normandy map pics....What ever happened to that Air Marshal thing? Maybe we'll see something tomorrow...hopefully.

Nobody needs B-26 pics, you can’t fly it anyways. What we need are Me 410 pics!

I would buy this instantly, and I actually think this is the best choice 1cgs have for a dedicated Allied bomber. Faster than any other Allied bomber, has a good bomb sight, don't have to worry about modelling a gunner's station, used on both the Normandy and Rheinland maps for the kind of engagements this sim excels at, etc. Would be a fantastic plane

Sadly it would be nothing but fodder for all the K4 pilots if used in the traditional bomber role.  The Mossie is a sneak in, drop, and run like hell thing.  Using it as a stand in for a B17 or a Lancaster would be suicidal.

Witn 4 20 Mike Mikes and a good pilot I hardly think the Mossie will be Cannon fodder for any Hun kite. Why would anyone use the Mossie in a traditional bomber role? It is a low level fighter attack aircraft pretty much.  If we get the Cookie Monster then yes, haul A$$ in drop that Biitch and haul A$$ out, or right after drop, go looking for K4 Cannon Fodder, lliterally. No the Mossie is not going to turn fight with you just like the 109 won't turn fight with the Spitty. Whatever gets the job done, sneaking, sleuthing, hiding under the treeline, Mossie's FTW! One good first pass and there won't be anything left of the K4 to brag about. The same goes for the 410(it's a new day, cake day is gone, fights on!) the 190 or any of the Hun kites!

My comment was based on the folks who wanted the pure bomber version with the "cookie cutter" bomb.  An unarmed aircraft like that won't cut it in the condensed environment like we have in the sim.  I am looking forward to the version we are getting and will use it a lot, but I have no delusions about beating human flown 109s or 190s with it.  Against another human the Mossie will be fodder. It is neither fast enough or maneuverable enough to survive against a well flown single seater.  Beating up on AIs won't be an issue though, I have done that many times with the A20.

Growling Sidewinder just posted a video of his latest server antics, and what he did in a K4 against two P47s, and yes, a Mossie. Worth a look.

I don't know why, probably because it was the first Warbird  I trained on in DCS, but the Anton is my baby.

I watched that video and let's be honest, he jumped each one of his victims, except one, without them knowing he was even coming. Good tactics by him but none of them even tried to fight except the one P51. That's not a good example of the K4s superiority, but only of poor SA of the opponents. Again, don't get me wrong, I love the K4, but these were just opportunistic bounces to good to pass up and look good in a video at the same time.
