Sorry guys,

Things have changed and I will not be doing a DD today. Maybe next week.

Jason

It's all good. The IAR-80 is not ready, so we can wait.  ?

Admit you are delaying giving info to the team to build it as you are personally deleting the engine operational limit pages from every single copy of the plane's manual still in existence :P

Alrighty then.. back to practicing deflection shooting, I guess.

Oh yeah.... I 'm falsifying the data so the engine shows to have 25 donkey power instead of 20 donkey power.... Muahahaha I'll pwn all the n00bs....?

This week I learned that a horse actually has about 15 horsepower. I cannot emphasise how angry this fact has made me.

Like surely this means that a horsepower is actually a dog power?

We shall christen this the "Hollywood" IAR-81, I could see a FW190 standing in for a IAR-81 just like T-6s/Harvards stand in for Zeros in the movies ?

Well, if we look at the performance I think this one is a better match:

What?... no DD today?

A&E will be jammed later, with all the IL2 combat prima donna's overdosing on misery mode, mock mass fainting's and parachute failures... of course it's all 'his' fault they'll wail...

I've heard about it before, but I only just learned what poutine was yesterday.  It's basically a bowl of chips ruined. :scratch_one-s_head:

As a Canadian (For as much as not myself a huge fan of Poutine) I am obliged to challenge you to a duel for your slanderous description of one of our (delicious) national dishes.  Spitfires at dawn as soon as I can figure out an IR or VR rig to make it fair...   ;)

I dunno. I’m more a lover than a fighter.  As a peace offering and as a South Australian, can I offer you a pie floater?

I thought Poutine was the Russian President?:scratch_one-s_head:Denum, if you have him for dinner please ask him if we can have Jason sent to the Gulag for not posting DD 300 on the 20th anniversary of IL2.

IT WILL NEVER BE ALRIGHT!

Well... not exactly - it is just some fries/chips with cheese curds melted in. The addition of gravy is a more recent development (especially excessive amounts of it - and I dread to think f some of the newer innovations). That said - Onion rings and cheese curds aren't a bad mix either on a winter's day when you need energy.

In the best tradition of the dramatic, Poutine looks like a dish best served cold. Or perhaps, not served at all.

Well... that isn't the kind of Poutine this Canadian would get - I'd go for different fries and just the curds.

That said - I've always wanted to try (just once) Scottish poutine (i.e. Poutine battered and deep fried).

They will be worth the wait.

Given the stellar job they did on the D - the actual aircraft will be worth the wait as well.

It's going to be one of the "gems" of the sim I think.

Ooooh that's on my list now.

That's from a little pizza place owned by a Pakistani family.

The Donair meat is just spicy enough on a winter's day.

Goes real nice with a brown ale!

Jason, many thanks that you had the time to share a screenshot with us from your personal skin that you created early. Will be there a time or a place inside the DD where we can see how your early personal skin looks ingame? :)

I am very hopeful that the B/C will be a great plane in the sim.  I still am wondering how it will differ from the D in performance.

I have been practicing in the 4 gun D and P40 though, just to try to get ahead of the learning curve.
