I was going to say that the P-47 is more 'phat' than fat, but I see that the kids are  using the term *squints through old man glasses* 'Thicc' these days.

Thicker than a bowl of oatmeal

The breakfast analogy is apt, I usually pancake into the scenery.

I would not say it looks fat, just a bit short. If it had double the length, it might be looking quite ok.

I don't think there will be a DD today. Not enough time. It's too late anyway.

It's not even 5 pm here, so it's never too late for a DD, never.

People say its too late and then it comes 2-3 hours later.

It's not YET too late :)

I think that's @Danziger's running gag. Or its some kind of reverse psychology gambit. Either way I am all for it.

This is now a national drunkenness thread.

Canadians are always at like one drink under par and need a beer just to be at an even keel. Its why our beer is  slightly more alcoholic than American beer.*

Sweet devs, please give us a DD before we start arguing over who's beer is better.

*This is not true, its just a difference in measuring by weight or by volume, but we need something we can beat the Americans at and we'll take what we can get.

I will drink in a few minutes one of them to my dinner, without alcohol, however.

I know the Maisel Weissbier from my time in Bundeswehr, when I was based in Bayreuth.

I admit I have a very special sweetspot for the Czech beer. Pilsner Urquell and Budvar Budweiser. Second in line will be bavarian brews, especially the small local breweries in Franken and Bayern. Bayreuth, Bamberg, Staffelstein, etc...

Prost! We still have 27deg centigree at the lower rhine here.

And no beer in sight until tomorrow evening since I ought to be in bed two hours ago and up very early. ?

Will try to get my hands on one of these:

That is seriously good juice. My job is as a wine and beer specialist at a local supermarket, so I've had to try hundreds of brews over the years. And I only remember the good ones.
