DD today?

I'd rather have them on fixing convergences and FOV in VR instead of a Dev blog. There are more urgent issues, Han is gathering information right now. AMD has also been a pain in the bee's hive lately. I'd really like to send them chocolate so they can get some stress relief instead.

After everything taking place this week and last, after pushing this update out, scrambling for a serious hotfix, putting out fires on the forum, and dealing with AMD driver support, the only DD we could expect to see is a 30 second video of a  Zoom teleconference with Petrovich and Han each downing a litre of Vodka in one pull, while Jason chugs a 40oz of whiskey.

Take a break gents, the slavering hordes of sim nerds will be here when they emerge from a well-deserved bender.

In true 2020 fashion, given what they have pushed out AGAIN this week, this has been escalated. This time around it will only take them 15 seconds to chug the vodka.

Jason has purchased a Lancaster and is going to drop incendiaries on the server farm to put us all out of his misery.

HA!

Watched Babylon 5 a couple years ago principally to hear Londo say, "Mr. Garibaldi."

And, as I have a soft spot for the cheeky way writers sneak total zingers past the sensors, I had to listen to Lyta tell the uncouth Kosh replacement, "You pulled out too quickly."

Not a few of the interactions are priceless.

= head of Security = redshirts. Much like the historical Garibaldi. Genius.

After all they have done with this sim this week, I think they well deserve a break from the DD today.

Well we have seen the Hurricane, Razorback, and C47 nude models a while back. I would bet that texturing for them has been done by now and maybe we can start to get peeks at them in the coming weeks.

Being a redshirt is not quite good news on another mainstream scifi series I know...

Still way too early for anything Normandy related except maybe one of the early planes.  Hoping for Hurricane.  Maybe some random improvements like AI or performance.  TBH those fire me up more than new planes at this point.

The razorback is supposed to come before the Hurricane, but we have seen 3D model work done on both. Might not be too early to start seeing cockpits or other WIP shots.

Indeed! P-47D-22 is planned to release ahead of the Hurricane so it's possible we'll see the latest on that soon. Both aircraft might be getting textured at this point.

i tend to agree, unless said plane is the Me 410, nothing better than a good 410 ?

Skins and textured cockpits of both would be nice for sure. And perhaps some news about droptanks?

I would not say it looks fat, just a bit short. If it had double the length, it might be looking quite ok.

It's the fat one alright... RAF pilots used to say you could always go for a run around the cockpit if you got bored in a P-47...

I would say that if the team do a DD today it will almost surely feature the last element from Tank Crew the Ferdinand, it cannot be far away for closure on that particular project and we normally see the tanks featured weeks before their final release.;)

Personally I would like to see more on the Hurricane, it and the Normandy map are what I am most looking forward to, however, I think it maybe far too early for any shots of the map at the moment.:drinks:

Take care and be safe.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete.

I was going to say that the P-47 is more 'phat' than fat, but I see that the kids are  using the term *squints through old man glasses* 'Thicc' these days.

''Thicc Boi'' would be the appropriate complete designation for the P-47 in today's kids language
