You are right however there is a similar problem with the Yak 9U, there is actually 3 of them all three very different according to the version and the period of production:

 

early U had the same wing just as the Yak9 with blunted shape wingtip (most beautiful wing ever?), engine M-105 PF2.

 

Late U had round shape wingtip with greater wingspan, engine M-107A with new ViCh-107LO propeller, axial canon MP-20.

 

UT different all metal wing, longer fuselage, option for 37mm+2X20mm, 23mm or 45mm

Yes, I also hope the PO-2/U-2 will be a success. There are so many left out planes which could be intergrated into the current career system / timeframes...BoM with early YaK-1s, or I-153s end so on and so forth.

I hope the U-2 will be made relevant online in missions. Like recon or pickup missions maybe. I also hope they do the Li-2 so that we can have transport objectives in non combat aircrafts on both sides.

If we do end up moving to the Pacific after BoBP, I think lots of USA flyers are going to get a rude shock when you compare the rearwards visibility of the P-51, 47 & 38 to that of the Wildcat, Hellcat & Corsair....

Whilest listening to the original version of Fourtet's seminal track 'Unspoken' (featuring the original, uncleared Tori Amos sample), I was delighted to find that the mid section of the video features some lovely archive footage of a bright red weather survey(?) P-38.

Ah yes the Dora! The next big thing. I guess early 2019 in combination with the Mustang. Those would make a very nice pair for a release.

As we haven´t seen anything on Tempest or P-38 yet, that could be the candidates to be released last with the map. Me 262 could come earlier to gather feedback on flightmodell from a broader installed base. However my crystal ball really isn´t better than anyone elses.
