1. With purchasing collector plane you are funding further development of the game

2. Different variants of 109 have different capabilities and style of play

3. Germans didnt have much more than 109 and 190 as fighters in production so you have "only" variants (jabo, fighter bomber, fighter, faster variants later, then beter climber and power ti weight ratio, longer range, stronger guns and structure etc).

This is where the Pacific would turn things around - we already have many western aircraft that faced Japanese (counting also those that are coming with BOBP), so their sub-versions would probably get released (among new types a-la F4F, F6F, F4U...), while Japanese planes would present a whole new world to explore.

1. I know this and have been a supporter of ROF and this sim for about 8 years, I own everything in ROF and gifted 15+ planes in ROF. As for BOX I own everything bar the collectors 109 and the  La-5FN series 2. I have also purchased Flying Circus.

 

2 and 3. I know this and was just happy with what I have.

I don't think that's really being fair to the development team. They've busted their behinds with DDs and updates from the gitgo. I've neven been involved with another game where I felt I had as much info presented about upcoming releases.

Well you are correct. P-47 never flew in combat, just a huge propaganda machine, wasn't a successful design, it's all a lie. How could an aircraft like that be competitive in combat? It's impossible.

Mortadelo y Filemón by Francisco Ibáñez Talavera. The comics were called Clever & Smart in Germany.

I had 3-4 of their comics, and yes they were super violent (but in a very Tom & Jerry-like fashion)

 

Personally I was a big fan of the big Franco-Belgien ones: Asterix, Tintin, Lucky Luke (particularly the ones written by Goscinny) and especially Spirou et Fantasio.
