Well ok the testers have spoken, back to normal speculation.  From my interpretation {edited} etc. so forth and what ever, either the 20th of this month or before the end of this year for the 47 for sure .  Now that I think about it we are leaving for a short vacation back on Friday, hopefully a DD or an update this week.

Jug will be out by the end of the month guaranteed, no way it can be longer than that. I think we'll get  it in 1-2 weeks at the most.

Thats the main reason i can't wait the new update, the new planes. Adding them to our missions, and making more missions for the new planes.

Yes, it would be great to have more diversity. The thing is that not many servers are going to use the BOBP planeset at all because we don't have map yet so I can't wait to fly MP on yours

We already started to build up a fantasy '44 mission for the BoBP planes. But without new planes, its progress stopped. So when the new update comes, players will see not our KubanSummer1944 mission's will be redone, but (maybe) in a few days they could play on a totally new mission, focused on BoBP planes.

They still have not created many (any?) BOK stationary units (e.g. spitfire). Im anxiosly awaiting for those to add more ambiance to the missions.

Noone is saying it is. Most of us don’t know, and those of us who do aren’t telling, so we may as well just relax and have fun in this thread. I kinda feel like the fun has been sucked out of it and replaced with angsty impatience over the last couple of pages (although we did catch a rare glimpse of LukeFF being genuinely funny with his “censored” posts - that was definitely a highlight)

I'd say tomorrow isn't just possible but is all but guaranteed. Same as today was as was yesterday too so will tomorrow be. It's the natural progression of time.

Is it because most of have been wrong in our speculation or because you feel it’s not done? because I think we can all agree that the P 47 and k4 have been done for some time now.

 

I bet theyre stowed away in some file about 730 mbs big waiting to be released to us by a dev who is wearing full Ww2 USAAF gear who will press the big red update button.

Well we haven't seen anything on the K4 so there's no telling what state that it's in.

My guess is they will release both at the same time so they need both the be completed before release. Who knows, maybe the P-47 is finished and now they're just waiting on the K4.

 

If thats the case I say screw the K4 and let me have the Jug, but that would be selfish.

Not really as the Allies have only 1 BOBP plane released when the Axis 2, so far.

nah, that k4 is done just rearrange certain parts of the cockpit and the 3d model and some changes to the G 14s FM.

It kind of does really. When you factor in the small size of the team, the fact that everyone involved is highly skilled and very busy polishing all their l33t hax0r sim toys that they're building for us. 

 

Taking two hours (ball park minimum to produce a dd) with a deadline looming to put together a post essentially saying 'hey guys, we're still working really hard on that stuff you already know that we're working really hard on' probably isn't a priority. 

 

Having said that, I'd love to see some info so I can pore over it while stuck in darkest Norfolk this weekend wondering just how stupid I am going to look playing the Last Post on a trombone...

My personal guess at this point is, that they aim to integrate the U2 release with the patch and because of that reason we haven´t seen anything yet. However we should be happy, because once the patch gets released we get the P47, the K4 and the U2. Looks like a good deal for me and I am happy to wait a few more days for that.

Looks like there won't be an announcement of master server downtime. So most likely no update today.

 

So what is in store for that DD tomorrow? I hope for an opening of preorders for the U-2 along with the first screenshots of drop tanks in action.
