Some show them with white, other with a yellow number.

 

Even if yellow 15 should be wrong, would you make this one too?

Good source KOHTYP, that white 45 and 100 of yak3 also would make excellent skins candidates.

I used this photo the most. As you can see, I did not repeat the color scheme in all the details, as I did not have accurate information and mostly just used a standard scheme.

I wanted to achieve an overall visual similarity and colors as close as possible to the originals from the photos. The skin is far from perfect  😢, but unfortunately my skinner skills and time reserves are very limited.

 

Therefore, I have no plans to improve this skin, but may be in the future.. who knows?..   I love the Normandy Neman skins, and maybe this skin will interest someone (although unfortunately I haven't seen at least  Normandy Neman squadron online).

UPD: The color of the white decals has been adjusted, so that the bluer effect no longer looks exaggerated on the exterior. Please replace the previous file with the new "00".

Since I've been wanting to make Number 12 for a long time, but there are already two skins of it here, I decided to make a "copy of a copy" skin. More precisely, the skin of the famous replica Yak 3, as you remember, which had an accident on landing. The flight videos of this red twelve delighted me in anticipation of the appearance of the Yak 3 in this simulator.

When creating the skin, the color was chosen more for the view from the cockpit:

On the exterior, the color differs significantly from the original. In addition, the white had to be tinted due to the exaggerated bluer effect on pure white.

It would be cool if we could get a numberless Normandie Niemen livery, so we could have a whole squadron in the same colours 🇫🇷 hehe
