This is my current pilot career

I will release the parts step by step after they are completed and I have flown the missions.

In IL-2 it is just 1 Campaign and the released missions of a new parts have to be copied into the existing campaign folder.

At the end I hope to have created a complete WW2 career from 1940-1945, but will it take ca. 1 - 2 years I suppose.

Each user / pilot can customize this campaign by adding self created missions, only mission naming syntax to be considered.

If a user / pilot does not own a IL-2 module that is used for a Part he can skip this Part or add self created missions.

The missions will be mostly generated with Easy Mission Generator by Vander or with my EMG Modifications.

How to be flown:

-with realistic settings

-without HuD, only cockpit view

-All information by Radio Messages

-Detailed description of mission design: see below.

-The Ailevels are low, but you have to survive many, many missions.

-All missions full missions from take off to landing.

-Mission flight time ca. 15minutes to 45minutes without time acceleration.

-Probability of enemy contact ca. 80% per mission.

Usage of the campaign / of campaign missions for other Mods, Mod packs, Campaign packs:

Yes, but ONLY with RENAMED CAMPAIGN NAME AND RENAMED CAMPAIGN FOLDER NAME!

Otherwise the existing campaigns could be overwritten and the results destroyed!

REQUIRED modification for Part02 (install with JSGME) 1940 Battle of Britain Mod v01:

https://www.mediafire.com/file/ekevzcfphl9j89j/1940+Battle+of+Britain+Mod+early+v01.zip/file

Short description 1940 Battle of Britain Mod:

-Map Mod only with 1940 existing RAF airfields, airfields changed to grass runways, all 1941-44 airfields removed, Manston smaller new layout

-Spitfire MKIa/MKIIs Mod:

-skin by Off_Winters (skin without cannons)

-weapon mod by me: only machine gun sound; rate of fire of 20mm Hispano MKII reduced, so that the

time for continuous fire is nearly the same as for the 0.303 Brownings (ca. 17seconds). Effect: reduced, but still effective volume

of fire to simulate the 8 x 0.303 Browning 1940/41 armament.

-British destroyer:

(destroyer7) with Gleaves main turrets and 40mm Bofors / 20mm Oerlikon AAA

   destroyer skin by Off_Winters

-AI Mod (self made):

increased open fire distance for AAA

increased accuracy for novice / normal bomber gunners

reduced max. fire distance for BF109-E7 (and Spitfire MKIa / BF110-C)

-Weapon Mod: reduced 20mm MG-FF standard HE shell for simulation of BF109E3

General Note to avoid conflicts with other campaign downloads:

To fly this campaign will take a long time and of course we want to try to avoid the loss of the campaign results:

-If you install other campaigns, campaign packs or similar Battle of Britain Modpacks, please check that there will be no further campaign with the exact same campaign folder name "Luftwaffe-WW2-Career-40-45", otherwise your campaign could be overwritten.

-I suggest to make after each successfull mission screenshots of you current awards, and after each completed part of the campaign a screenshot of the Awards and the date in the filename.

Further Information about campaign design / how to fly:

Suggestion how to fly the missions:

image.png.77e92f6fdb2b517b6233d4f664ba7824.png

-I have flown each mission with Monitor or VR directly as campaign mission without testing.

-flight time: ca. 15-30minutes

-after enemy contact you can decide to fly home or to stay with your flight.

-but if you fly alone / seperated from your flight you will not be warned if the enemy attacks, better to return as fast as possible at low level...

General notes / information:

-Additionally installed in mission (+hints about german messages):

-Enemy plane reports by ground control (of course 1940 in BoF not accurate, only 10x10km grid from time to time)

example:

Hier ist Fuchs = Here is Fox

Nach Zielen suchen! = Search for targets!

im Planquadrat 1628 = In grid 1628

How it sounds for example in german:

https://youtu.be/an08jwCtxPE

And a similar english message with the same content (message at 03:51):

https://youtu.be/FEGItQyjSWc

-Audio warnings by AI wingmen during air combat

https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/91434-audio-warnings-by-ai-wingmen-during-air-combat-w-rugerusgb-groupsmission-pack-v01/

https://youtu.be/iNjfTd2HHO8

02:02 Hurricane Mission (eng)

04:31 Yak7 Mission (rus)

06:28 FW190-F3 Mission (germ)

Career / Campaign Description:

If you like you can add some data about your personal pilot into the "info.locale=eng.txt" file.

Example: of my 1st / current pilot:

Hi BaglanBoy:

You have 2 downloads:

The Campaign folder has to be copied into your IL-2 Campaignfolder:

image.png.e647b08824c125c36562d0f10beff2cf.png

The Modification "1940 Battle of France Mod vC" has to be installed with JSGME as usual.

Are you already using JSGME?

No problem, I will soon publish the latest version of my EMG BoB mod,

you can create quick and easy allied and axis semi historic BoB missions.

And if you need assistance I could define some settings.

Hi Andrei,

I have uploaded the modified "EasyMissionGenerator-Battle-of-Britain-V01"

to be used together with the Battle of Britain mod.

https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/92449-early-normandy-1940-map-mod-v03a/

Please have a look here how EMG works in general:

https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/43276-il2-great-battles-easy-mission-generator/

https://sites.google.com/view/il2-great-battles-emg/home

Some hints:

Spoiler

The start settings are for a RAF Airfield defense mission:

When you start EMG the first time define the IL2 main folder and optional the Mission folder:

image.png.31458c69341e02c54b1129e59081ff74.png

On the "Situation" you can choose the airfields, the fronts, date, time, weather, and by clicking on the map you can define the blue target area circle

image.png.a9fcc7c409a3fb8c35219b04f34c61b8.png

On "Scenario" you can define the mission parameters.

You will find will many  Random or any options to make the mission interesting and unpridictable.

Thank you so very much!

Little question: if I install the BoB mod and the BoB mission generator with jgsme, then turn on the game mods, then it will work. And then if I turn off mods in the game start menu, the mods will be disabled, right?

But if I turn on mods again, they will be installed again, right? So I can use the game's mods switch to use the BoB mod on/off, right?

You are welcome.

The Mission Generator is a separate software. I myself have it installed in a folder outside of IL-2. But others install it with JSGME too.

What you mentioned about activating mods may work.

I myself have the mods in IL-2 always activated and I install them as required with JSGME.

The reason is, that I use many different mods and it is not possible to install them simultanously.

If you create now BoB missions with EMG I propose to use menually created mission folders that will not removed by JSGME when the mod is deinstalled.
