kraut1 Posted August 25 Posted August 25 (edited) This is my current pilot career I will release the parts step by step after they are completed and I have flown the missions. In IL-2 it is just 1 Campaign and the released missions of a new parts have to be copied into the existing campaign folder. At the end I hope to have created a complete WW2 career from 1940-1945, but will it take ca. 1 - 2 years I suppose. Each user / pilot can customize this campaign by adding self created missions, only mission naming syntax to be considered. If a user / pilot does not own a IL-2 module that is used for a Part he can skip this Part or add self created missions. The missions will be mostly generated with Easy Mission Generator by Vander or with my EMG Modifications. How to be flown: -with realistic settings -without HuD, only cockpit view -All information by Radio Messages -Detailed description of mission design: see below. -The Ailevels are low, but you have to survive many, many missions. -All missions full missions from take off to landing. -Mission flight time ca. 15minutes to 45minutes without time acceleration. -Probability of enemy contact ca. 80% per mission. Usage of the campaign / of campaign missions for other Mods, Mod packs, Campaign packs: Yes, but ONLY with RENAMED CAMPAIGN NAME AND RENAMED CAMPAIGN FOLDER NAME! Otherwise the existing campaigns could be overwritten and the results destroyed! -Part 01: Battle of France (12 BF109-E3 Missions) required: BoN, BoP, BoM Download: https://www.mediafire.com/file/4bn43hhi3yhjn4s/Luftwaffe-WW2-Career-40-45-Part01-Battle_of_France.zip/file REQUIRED modification only for Part01 (install with JSGME) 1940 Battle of France Mod vC: https://www.mediafire.com/file/mdi3hhkna4kggot/1940+Battle+of+France+Mod+vC.zip/file This Mod contains skins by: ICDP French A20, Taurus: Potez630 (Pe-2), In memory of BeeBop: Dewoitine D520 (Lagg3s29), Fairy Battle Skin (IL-2 M43), EMS2/4_kerlir: Morane MS406 (Yak-7)+ variation by me; Off_Winters: UK destroyer skin (destroyer7) Modded by me: weapon mod, e.g.: MG-FF with standard HE shells (no mine shells) Static french planes, british Bedford, Universal Carrier without white stars, "British" Cruiser Tank (Pz38t) on basis of a skin of @DetCord12B and for the BF109-E3 a small cockpit change without hint for "Automatic Propeller Unit". Are you already using JSGME?
BaglanBoy Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Yes I have JSGME installed and have been using it for sometime to install mods 1

And if you need assistance I could define some settings. Hi Andrei, I have uploaded the modified "EasyMissionGenerator-Battle-of-Britain-V01" to be used together with the Battle of Britain mod. https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/92449-early-normandy-1940-map-mod-v03a/ Please have a look here how EMG works in general: https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/43276-il2-great-battles-easy-mission-generator/ https://sites.google.com/view/il2-great-battles-emg/home Some hints: Spoiler The start settings are for a RAF Airfield defense mission: When you start EMG the first time define the IL2 main folder and optional the Mission folder: On the "Situation" you can choose the airfields, the fronts, date, time, weather, and by clicking on the map you can define the blue target area circle On "Scenario" you can define the mission parameters. You will find will many Random or any options to make the mission interesting and unpridictable.
AndreiTomescu Posted Sunday at 04:56 PM Posted Sunday at 04:56 PM Thank you so very much! Little question: if I install the BoB mod and the BoB mission generator with jgsme, then turn on the game mods, then it will work. And then if I turn off mods in the game start menu, the mods will be disabled, right? But if I turn on mods again, they will be installed again, right? So I can use the game's mods switch to use the BoB mod on/off, right?

So I can use the game's mods switch to use the BoB mod on/off, right? You are welcome. The Mission Generator is a separate software. I myself have it installed in a folder outside of IL-2. But others install it with JSGME too. What you mentioned about activating mods may work. I myself have the mods in IL-2 always activated and I install them as required with JSGME. The reason is, that I use many different mods and it is not possible to install them simultanously. If you create now BoB missions with EMG I propose to use menually created mission folders that will not removed by JSGME when the mod is deinstalled.
