kraut1 Posted August 25 Posted August 25 (edited) NEW: -Optional BoF / BoB Campaign Mission Pack converted to new BF109-E4 for Odessa / Leningrad owners +slightly adapted 1940 Battle of France Mod vD for all BoF missions (Part01) +slightly adapted 1940 Battle of Britain early Mod v02 for all BoB missions (Part02) An already ongoing campaign with BF109E7 can be updated to BF109E4 without loss of campaign awards, I have done this with my personal campaign. This is my current pilot career I will release the parts step by step after they are completed and I have flown the missions. In IL-2 it is just 1 Campaign and the released missions of a new parts have to be copied into the existing campaign folder. At the end I hope to have created a complete WW2 career from 1940-1945, but will it take ca. 1 - 2 years I suppose. Each user / pilot can customize this campaign by adding self created missions, only mission naming syntax to be considered. If a user / pilot does not own a IL-2 module that is used for a Part he can skip this Part or add self created missions. The missions will be mostly generated with Easy Mission Generator by Vander or with my EMG Modifications. How to be flown: -with realistic settings -without HuD, only cockpit view -All information by Radio Messages -Detailed description of mission design: see below. -The Ailevels are low, but you have to survive many, many missions. -All missions full missions from take off to landing. -Mission flight time ca. 15minutes to 45minutes without time acceleration. -Probability of enemy contact ca. 80% per mission. Overview about the parts: Part 01: Battle of France 12 BF109-E3 Missions -released Part02: early Battle of Britain (Channel Battle / Assault on RAF 16 BF109-E3/E4 Missions -released Part03: late Battle of Britain (Jabo / Fighter Bomber II.(S) LG2, Jabo Offensive with 2.JG51 and??) (work in progress: 7 missions created/ flown) Installation (general procedure): 1.) Download the Part01 of the Campaign and copy it into your ...\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\Campaigns\ folder. This will be the campaign folder for the whole campaign. 2.) For all further parts the downloads are Mission packs. Extract or / copy these missions into your Luftwaffe Career 1940-45 Campaign folder. 3.) For each Part of the campaign you will find a detailed description below. And there is mentioned if an additional Mod has to be used and which IL-2 GB Modules / collector planes have to be used. 4.) If you want to install other Modpacks, Mods, Campaigns please check, that there is not a campaign with the identical folder name "Luftwaffe-WW2-Career-40-45" included to avoid that your campaign is overwritten and your awards deleted. -Part 01: Battle of France (12 BF109-E3 Missions) required: BoN, BoP, BoM Download (original BF109-E7 missions) : https://www.mediafire.com/file/4bn43hhi3yhjn4s/Luftwaffe-WW2-Career-40-45-Part01-Battle_of_France.zip/file NEW: Optional Download with BF109E4 for Odessa owners: (ALL BoF (Part01 ) and early BoB (Part02) Missions) https://www.mediafire.com/file/kd23rv5vjcd5uvg/Luftwaffe-WW2-Career-40-45-Part02-Part01-BoF_BoB-Optional-Missions-with-Odessa-BF109E4.zip/file UPDATED REQUIRED modification only for Part01 (install with JSGME) 1940 Battle of France Mod vD: https://www.mediafire.com/file/kfaxgt9nsb15xnw/1940_Battle_of_France_Mod_vD.zip/file This Mod contains skins by: ICDP French A20, Taurus: Potez630 (Pe-2), In memory of BeeBop: Dewoitine D520 (Lagg3s29), Fairy Battle Skin (IL-2 M43), EMS2/4_kerlir: Morane MS406 (Yak-7)+ variation by me; Off_Winters: UK destroyer skin (destroyer7) added: -skin by Off_Winters (skin without cannons) + my weapon mod added: Map Mod only with 1940 existing RAF airfields Modded by me: weapon mod, e.g.: MG-FF with standard HE shells (no mine shells) Static french planes, british Bedford, Universal Carrier without white stars, "British" Cruiser Tank (Pz38t) on basis of a skin of DetCord12Band for the BF109-E3 a small cockpit change without hint for "Automatic Propeller Unit". Effect: reduced, but still effective volume of fire to simulate the 8 x 0.303 Browning 1940/41 armament. -British destroyer: (destroyer7) with Gleaves main turrets and 40mm Bofors / 20mm Oerlikon AAA destroyer skin by Off_Winters -AI Mod (self made): increased open fire distance for AAA increased accuracy for novice / normal bomber gunners reduced max. fire distance for BF109-E7 (and Spitfire MKIa / BF110-C) -Weapon Mod: reduced 20mm MG-FF standard HE shell for simulation of BF109E3 Updated with BF109-E4 AI Mod, AAA bots updated For OPTIONAL adaption of some details to BF109E3 (for Kanalkampf Missions) -disable 1940 Battle of Britain Mod v02 in JSGME -activate in the Mod the standard 20mm HE shells for the standard 20mm Oerlikon MG-FF: rename /delete the xxx: -replace the cockpit plate with the information concerning the E4/E7 Automatic Propeller Control with the Modded plate by renaming /deleting the xxx: (It's a german text, if this is not relevant for you you don't have to change, but I dislike a hint in a E3 for a automatic propeller controll) -enable 1940 Battle of Britain Mod v02 in JSGME And most importent: fly the BF109-E3 with manual propeller controll for realism! General Note to avoid conflicts with other campaign downloads: To fly this campaign will take a long time and of course we want to try to avoid the loss of the campaign results: -If you install other campaigns, campaign packs or similar Battle of Britain Modpacks, please check that there will be no further campaign with the exact same campaign folder name "Luftwaffe-WW2-Career-40-45", otherwise your campaign could be overwritten. -I suggest to make after each successfull mission screenshots of you current awards, and after each completed part of the campaign a screenshot of the Awards and the date in the filename. Further Information about campaign design / how to fly: Suggestion how to fly the missions: -I have flown each mission with Monitor or VR directly as campaign mission without testing. -flight time: ca. 15-30minutes -after enemy contact you can decide to fly home or to stay with your flight. -but if you fly alone / seperated from your flight you will not be warned if the enemy attacks, better to return as fast as possible at low level... General notes / information: -Additionally installed in mission (+hints about german messages): -Enemy plane reports by ground control (of course 1940 in BoF not accurate, only 10x10km grid from time to time) example: Hier ist Fuchs = Here is Fox Nach Zielen suchen! = Search for targets! im Planquadrat 1628 = In grid 1628 How it sounds for example in german: https://youtu.be/an08jwCtxPE And a similar english message with the same content (message at 03:51): https://youtu.be/FEGItQyjSWc -Audio warnings by AI wingmen during air combat https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/91434-audio-warnings-by-ai-wingmen-during-air-combat-w-rugerusgb-groupsmission-pack-v01/ Warning (range) Messages in Demo video: https://youtu.be/iNjfTd2HHO8 02:02 Hurricane Mission (eng) 04:31 Yak7 Mission (rus) 06:28 FW190-F3 Mission (germ) Career / Campaign Description: If you like you can add some data about your personal pilot into the "info.locale=eng.txt" file. You will find will many Random or any options to make the mission interesting and unpridictable.
YR-AndreiTomescu Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Thank you so very much! Little question: if I install the BoB mod and the BoB mission generator with jgsme, then turn on the game mods, then it will work. And then if I turn off mods in the game start menu, the mods will be disabled, right? But if I turn on mods again, they will be installed again, right? So I can use the game's mods switch to use the BoB mod on/off, right?

So I can use the game's mods switch to use the BoB mod on/off, right? You are welcome. The Mission Generator is a separate software. I myself have it installed in a folder outside of IL-2. But others install it with JSGME too. What you mentioned about activating mods may work. I myself have the mods in IL-2 always activated and I install them as required with JSGME. The reason is, that I use many different mods and it is not possible to install them simultanously. If you create now BoB missions with EMG I propose to use menually created mission folders that will not removed by JSGME when the mod is deinstalled.

Thanks in advance for help cause your tool's just great. Hi Azdack, I have started (flight time only 1-3minutes) both the BF109-E7 version and the later BF109-E4 variant for Siege and Liberation (Odessa and Leningrad) owners. Both missions were loaded and take off worked. So my questions: 1.) Have you only installed exactly this mod: 1940 Battle of France Mod vD ? 2.) When did IL-2 crashed? Was the mission loaded? During the flight? 3.) Do you use maybe a very early version of Battle of britain modpackv2 by Sandinourcoffee6? If yes please check if in this modpack is a campaign with the same name? Edited November 16 by kraut1
Azdack Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Hello Kraut, Thanks very much for your answers. Regarding your questions, my answers : 1.) Yes in Generic Mode Enabler into the right column I only have : 1940 Battle of France Mod vD. 2.) Il2 crashes once the red curser of loading mission arrives at the end of loading. Then I have a black screen for one or two seconds and then back on my PC desk. 3.) As Battle of britain modpack V2 I have downloaded the link above in your post : https://www.mediafire.com/file/fy4rwq6wb0ip9x2/1940_Battle_of_Britain_Mod_early_v02.zip/file. In the left column of JSGME I have another folder called : Battle of Britain modpack which is not activated because I want to play : 1940 Battle of France Mod vD but into this folder : Battle of Britain modpack yes I have a folder called : Battle of britain missions with following fivew folders in it : August 1940 eagle day and early months battles/August 1940 Hardest days/July 1940/prelude to the battle/ september 1940. This is a picture of my Generic mod enabler Thanks for help https://www.mediafire.com/file/fy4rwq6wb0ip9x2/1940_Battle_of_Britain_Mod_early_v02.zip/file

Maybe it is just bad luck, an incompatibility with some settings on your computer. Because my campaign contains very many missions (for the next part 15 further are already completed), I suggest: Delete the one problematic mission from your campaign folder and try to continue with the campaign. You will find many interesting missions. My last idea to be checked: Have all 10 files of the problematic mission: 1940-05-11a-bof-bf109e3-offensive-reconn-mission.mission the same date and time?
kraut1 Posted November 17 Author Posted November 17 3 hours ago, Azdack said: Hello Kraut, Thanks very much for your answers. Regarding your questions, my answers : And you could upload your mission.
Azdack Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Hello Kraut, Thanks for your proposal. I deleted and saved in a separate folder the 10 files from the mission not loading : 1940-05-11b-bof-bf103e3-escort (the 10 files are same date and time as you asked) from campaign folder Luftwaffe-WW2-Career-40-45. Then I went back into the game to play both following missions 12a an 14a. And it works nice. Thanks again for your campaign. Great fun! Further question : once Battle of France plaid, to play next the Battle of Britain I'll have to go into JSGME and to push 1940 Battle of France Mod vD from right column to left column and to inversely push 1940 Battle of Britain Mod early v02 from left column to right column ? Thanks for your answer.
kraut1 Posted November 17 Author Posted November 17 Thanks for your positive comments and that you like the missions! Yes, after Battle of France is completed deactivate with JSGME the Battle of France mod and for Battle of Britain you have only to activate the latest Battle of Britain Mod that I have mentioned. In general the latest Battle of Britain mod is suitable for the missions until mid October 40. And for the very late BoB missions (or Blitz) missions with the new BF109-F1 (Stab and I./JG51) there will be a small extension of the BoB mod optionally required. It`s already working and I have created/flown 3 campaign missions. And additionally @Off_Winters is already working on a BoB skin mod that is compatible to the campaign. And in general this type of campaign is something new, because it should cover the whole years until May 1945. So I recommend to create from time to time some screenshots of your campaign results / awards to document your progress just in case that some issues happen with the campaign functionality. In parallel I will work on some Dummy campaign missions that have the purpose to enable you to restore your campaign results in case that you have lost them due to some general IT reasons. (10 years ago I added my IL-2BoS results in the same way to my IL-2 1946 static / il2dcg campaigns) / here my very first post from 2015:
Azdack Posted November 18 Posted November 18 Three missions more plaid. Very nice. Thanks Kraut. I enjoy the voice warning of the presence of enemies in square xxxx. Very helpful! 1
