kraut1 Posted July 21 Posted July 21 (edited) Small Skin Pack with some improvised "Romanian Skins" for 1941/1944 Odessa map mission creation. The skins of this Mod pack are implemented in the newest EMG Odessa 1941-1944 Mission Generator Modification Download (JSGME compatible): https://www.mediafire.com/file/x5y0y69mycim68z/Romanian+AI+Vehicles++Tank+Skins+v1.zip/file In summer 1941 the Romanian tank units used the light Skoda T35 = R-2 tank, so from my point of view the Skoda Pz38(t) is not so far away from the reality. As far as I know the Romanian Army used the Pz38(t) in 1943. In 1944 the Romanian Army used Tank Destroyers too, and they were similar to the Marder. The tank destroyer could be used for Odessa 1944. Based on the great work of DetCord12B https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/36524-mod-camouflage-of-the-wehrmacht/ a small attempt to create a semi or maybe quarter historical Romanian Tank (please excuse the quality). https://tanks-encyclopedia.com/ww2/romania.php New V1: Romanian version of PzIV-G and Ford truck on basis of the skin by Off_Winters: +Romanian Hurricane skin by E69_julian57 Edited Monday at 06:01 AM by kraut1 3 1
MajorMagee Posted July 25 Posted July 25 Any interest in having these converted into free standing AI models that can be selected in the mission editor? 1

Hi MajorMagee, Thanks very much for your offer! I know that you are a real specialist in respect of duplication of AI vehicles and it's great that you offer your support. Let me say from my personal point of view currently not yet. Because I still hope that we might get some Romanian AI vehicles, guns, small ships,... with the final release of Odessa / Leningrad. If we don't get the romanian AI vehicles there will be definatly a requirement for a real romanian modpack: with duplicated versions of similar existing tanks, trucks, artillery, gun-boats with romanian skins, maybe with modded soldiers?. And in the forum are some members who are really interested in romanian units and Romania to be added. @AndreiTomescu@Sandmarken https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/91630-romanian-faction-voicetactical-codes/ Maybe they are interested in a modpack now? 1

I have been working on a project that woud need romanian units. I do hope for some natives as its easier to implement, but the mod definatly looks good! 1
