Are any of these Mosquito navigator's voice prompts working outside the campaing? Will he finally warn about enemy fighters, like gunners do?

Yes - would be nice if the navigator would call out a bandit or target sighted within a certain range, similar to what the AI gunner does verbally. Granted he doesn't have a gun, but he could at least call out what he sees and be of some help. In MP, the navigator is basically useless because he just sits there (and blocks the view to some degree).

In general twin engine campaigns are very welcome 😉

 

Please don’t forget for future updates:

 

-German Bomb safety switch 

-Workable Kurssteuerung for He111, Ju88, Bf 110

-separate assignment of stage coolers in multi-engine aircraft

-incorrectly labeled oil coolers in Ju 87 and Heinkel 111

Fantastic update and interesting, but based on true events good campaign.
Question:
F-4 43 modi engine? It's got it 1941 early -mid 1942, no?
P-39 engine modi is a very welcomed update! Now We'll see more of those planes. Excellent! ^^

That does happen on occasion, yes. There are limitations though.

@LukeFF maybe it's a good idea to make it a bit more clear that the Gestapo Hunters campaign is payware, with a purchase link. Right now from your post it seems like it's a free one. It sure got me fooled.

 

@Jaegermeister your campaign looks positively great! The only thing that keeps me from buying it is the map; the timeframe is given as January-July, but the default map isn't really suitable for winters. Did you exchange the textures and forests to give it more of a winter look? Not necessarily snow (there's usually barely any in the Netherlands; I imagine there's even less in France), but at least barren trees and fields? I'm afraid the default map would break the suspension of disbelief for me...

There are no custom or altered textures. There is some light snow in a couple of missions but the majority are April, May and June

Thank you for this Update - and a new Campaign at the right time for the Hollydays😎 Awesome

 

And thinking about the upcoming Odessa and Karelia Maps - the engine updates are even more welcome by thinking about flying a P39 at later stages of the war or to see what the Finns can do in their G2 with more available power.

 

Great work and my honest Thanks to everyone involved.

Which keys can I use to activate the windshield wiper on the DH Mosquito? In the keyboard mapping, how is the function defined?
In which Career timeframe can the Ta 152 and Spitfire Mk.XIV w/ Teardrop Canopy operate?
Is there any release date for the Odessa and Karelia/Gulf of Finland scenarios and the Yak 03?

Please, while updated, my game is not working anymore. I am starting game via Steam and it says: "Packed data verification fails, restore and try again".

To be honest i am tired of that Steam. Very annoying site.

 

How can i fix this issue? Possible to go back too 5.504b?

 

Would be great if the udates are also stored on the hard disk. So i can handle them.

109F4 & G2 getting 3 minutes Emergency Power sounds great…sad G4 & G6 noises if they’re still stuck at 1 minute? I’ve been out of action for awhile so I don’t know quite where they stand.

 

Edit: I missed the fact that the G4 and G6 already got the new limits in the last  - thanks!

Before this patch G-4/6 got the 1943 engine mode.
So today: F-4, G2-4-6 Bf 110 G2 has engine modi.
G6 late/AS emergency power increased to 3 min by default.

Great update! A lot of second lives for some fighters.

 

And also a great idea creating such a Mosquito campaign. Reminds me immediately on the Netflix movie “The Shadow in My Eye”. Thank you.

SO does this mean the Amiens Prison has been added to the Normandy map? From what I can tell the promo image is using the Winchester ground asset as a stand in.

Great tweaks to the Normandy Career mode, and welcome BF-109 engine alterations.

Will pick up the new Aussie Campaign when done with the rest (have to support my country's finest; they were unfairly labelled "J-- Dodgers" by many, along with Aussie Lanaster crews, when they returned home).

Before global warming we had quite a few more. 1940 and 41 had 22 days with snow on the ground. 60 days in 1943. 9 in 1944 and 2 in 1945.

Wow, some great surprises in this update - very excited for the mosquito campaign, it looks well worth it!  Also the p39 finally gets an engine mod for better timers👍 still have to try it in combat, but there's no doubt its an improvement. It not only improves the WEP time, it basically doubles all the other limits which made it so tricky to build speed. 

 

Nominal: 2600 RPM, 37.2 inch Hg (<75% throttle)  (unlimited time)
Military: 3000 RPM, 42 inch Hg (75-84% throttle) (up to 15 minutes -> up to 30 minutes)
Take-off: 3000 RPM, 51 inch Hg (85-94% throttle) (up to 5 minutes -> up to 10 minutes)
WEP: 3000 RPM, 60 inch Hg (>95% throttle) (up to 2 minutes -> up to 5 minutes)
 
I reckon being able to stay above 300mph with flush radiators for 30 mins on military power should be a game changer in terms of building speed and energy retention. Is it already in career mode i wonder?

Yes, all the new engine mods have been integrated into career mode, both for the player's squadron and for AI-controlled flights. There was a misunderstanding about when the 109 F-4's engine mod should be available, so it's locked right now but should be fixed in the next update.

Guys, why hasn't the Anemometer been fixed in Fokker E.III? It still shows either 0 or 250 km/h (a good speed 😅!). This has been reported several times.

Request for some hot fix, thank you.

Since we are adding some updated engine time limits, it's time to fix to Fw-190A3/5/6/8 inaccurate combat mode time.

 

Both game specifications and manual says we can run the BMW 801D engine for 30 mn at 1.32 ata (2400 RPM) but in game, it's only 26 mn before getting the Combat mode exceeded time message... 😕

@PhilthySpud did an awesome job on the voice tracks and adding some real down under atmosphere to it. I really can't thank him enough for his contribution and it wouldn't have been the same without it. Well done Mate!

I need at least one track file to show the developers what is going on exactly.

Seems to be a bug with the 109 G-2 with 1.42ata option; it will be obvious once you test it- go 1.15ata, and it'll go to 2400rpm; it'll only do 2300rpm at manual prop pitch.  If you throttle down to continuous mode, at 2300rpm, the ata will be at about 0.97ata

Not so, i remember winters in the 60 being sometimes fierce with the North Sea freezing up even along the coast. Soft winters are maybe the thing due climate change since the 90-ies.

 

Gestapo Hunters Q, are the mission files in cmpbin or msnbin format? While back i decided not to buy cmpbin no more as you can never change something small like payloads or even plane type ...

I'm not seeing this sort of behavior.
