justanaveregeguy Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 I have a GTX 1650 TI I5 10200H 16GB Ram and want to buy great battles since the autumn sales just came but not sure if it can run it anyone can tell me?
JG4_Deciman Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 The first time I played it on a i7-4770 with 16GM ram and a GTX 770 (2gb), and it worked Next was updating to a 1070 8GB, also worked. I think the GTX 1650 is somewhere between them (4GB I think), so it should also work. Deci
Avimimus Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 Yes. The developers have been very good with ensuring the game runs efficiently and is accessible to a variety of users. I range it with 1.5GB card, then a 2GB card for years... for the last two years I used a 6GB card (which allows 1440p). That said, I would recommend at least an 8GB card for the upcoming Korea: Il-2 product. It will have an extensive overhaul of the graphics engine and it is assumed that 8 GB will be the new baseline (with more powerful cards allowing higher performance above 1080p). That said, the developers still haven't released minimum/recommend specifications (and likely won't do so for a while). So anyone looking for a new card should likely aim for 8GB or a bit higher. That is my advice.
Zooropa_Fly Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 I run a GTX 1070, i5 7600k, 16gB RAM. Works fine with a 4K monitor. As long as you're not planning to use VR, you should be ok.
ST_Catchov Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 1650 is a good card. Works fine. Non VR of course. Then you're talkin' lotsa cheese.
Aapje Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 I played on a 1660 Super in the past and that was excellent on a 1440p screen, so a 1650 should work. You might have to reduce some settings.
justanaveregeguy Posted November 28, 2024 Author Posted November 28, 2024 Thank you all for answering

Han mentioned on one of our recent videos that the aim is to have Korea run well on a card two or three generations behind the current ones and hence that a 30-series Nvidia GPU will be sufficient. 3

On a monitor or VR? Curious, if you can answer, what does HQ run on their machines when testing VR? And monitors?

I admire that! Same goes for back in the day when I/we pointed out the lack of an offline mode could exclude people in more isolated/remote communities who don't have stable Internet and they implemented it. I appreciate how they try to keep the sim accessible.
