21.06.44 Normandy FW190-A8 Fighter Bomber Escort Mission (created with Easy Mission Generator v81.1modded)

Hi all,

Here a new semi historic correct mission created with a modded version of Easy Mission Generator by Vander with new Normandy fronts.

 

Unit: I. Gruppe JG.2

Plane Type: FW190-A8

The player is number 2 in the Schwarm.

Airfield: Improvised Airfield / Feldflugplatz near Coutances  (selfmade for short cruise flight to Utah / Omaha beach targets)

Attention: the ground of the Feldflugplatz ist not good prepared, take off with Emergency power and flaps full down!

If your Flight Leader crashs during take off you are the leader.

After take off check if the landing gear is fully retracted.

The Lead Flight / Fighter Bombers are already circling near the airfield.

Fighter Bombers: 2x FW190-A8

Target / and allied fighter opposition random by Easy Mission Generator (altogether 24 "aggressive" axis/allied ambient planes + enemy lead / escort flight random by EMG too.

Flight time without time acceleration: ca.20 - 35 minutes

I have just flown the mission with VR and realistic settings (and barely survived).

additionally installed my self made wingmen audio warnings (in german)

audio files in data/Audio/common folder in zip.

Let me be the first to thank you for your contribution. I thoroughly enjoy the unknown of a first flight mission and I'm a bit bored with the standard game missions so the community missions are my mission right now thank you.

You could try out Easy Mission Generator by @SYN_Vander:

1. By using random options the missions are always interesting, even if you have created them by yourself.
2. In case of FPSs issues / limited computer performance you can control effectively the number of planes / ground objects.
3. You can control / define effectively the length of the mission / distance to the targets to avoid endless cruise flights.
4. You could fly a self created "Campaign" by creating missions with EMG / flying the missions step by step.
5. With modifications of EMG you could try out some "simulated" battles e.g.: Battle of France, Battle of Britain, Air War over Italy, Papua New Guinea... These battles are simulated by using similar existing planes with another skin, e.g.: Lagg3 with D520 skin for BoF or by using existing maps, sometimes with map modifications to simulate another map. Mostly for this used is the Kuban Map used, e.g.: for Tunisia, New Guinea, Italy,...
