Installed and configured EMG v81. Never had an issue but despite EMG shows the window "mission created" the mission doesn't appear into the game under missions. I tried to play a misson on Normandy map/Caen/Spit/patrol.

Yes, I seem to have the same troubles while using EMG v81 ... no mission will be created.

-have you selected the mission folder where you searched the mission (sorry, I am sure you have).

-do you own the version of your player's plane (the exact Spitfire MK? variant)?

-very unusual issue (I think, no-one but me had this problem) could be: was IL2 running when you created the mission (normally no problem)? Only for test: quit IL2, create a new mission folder, and re-create the mission in the new folder. I start IL2 when I create a new mission after Generating... has switched to Re-Saving... 

-and in general for patrol missions: define Ambient Planes to have targets

 

Attached 3 Spit patrols that are working on my computer:

ADDED LATER: the ambient planes will be activated (spawned) when player is closer 10km

Did you check if the file was created on the drive, in the correct folder?

I checked the my related folder and it's empty.

I think 2 different problems:

@Azdack mission is created, but invisible in IL2

@=FI=Genosseno missions are created - maybe Generator does not work at all?

 

If you post your config.ini after you tried to create a single player mission I can read in the file in my EMG and see what happens.

Well this morning I opened EMG to create a mission and EMG window under mission name showed : "gathering clouds"...? Maybe because late yesterday evening I installed the new Servergenerator.exe ? By the way I would be interested to use that tool but the newbie I am in computing woud be happy to find a tuto anywhere. Is it possible to play with Servergenerator as single player ?

Let's go back to EMG  as single player.

I checked that I own all kinds of spitfires. It's ok.

I checked the right way to show EMG the folder of Il2 Great Battles in my PC as well as the way where missions are kept  into Programms files/Il2/data/missions.

I created a mission in EMG and after "generating" the window "Mission has been created" poped up. 

I checked into IL2/data/Missions and the mission was in it.

I opened the game and...no mission to play...

Can you try without custom plane set? The generator quits at the point where the plane set is defined....

in your case it's simple:

 

il2_path = D:\Program Files\1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles
template_path = .\template\
mission_name = SYN_MacRenfield
mission_folder = C:\Program Files\IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles\data\Missions

 

You have selected D:\ ....as your primary IL2 folder

and C:\... as you specific mission folder. I don't think it should be like that?

 

If there is no need for a specific mission folder, but you just use the default one than please just leave it empy. It's only causing issues like this.

Click "Reset" to empty it.

If you double-clicked on server generator then, yes it will have (tried to) create a mission out of a list of presets and the mission names are there as well.

The server generator's only purpose is to generate a number of missions in batch, using predefined settings. This is only useful if you want to automate your IL2 server.

It can in theory also be used to generate a batch of single missions as well so you would create a sort of campaign.

EDIT: Just tested this, but it doesn't work as the servergenerator sets "player_side" to "both", which doesn't work for single player.

Thank you SYN_Vander. Actually yes with the right way to show EMG the folder of Il2 and optional mission folder on the same HD...it works. Silly I am!

Regarding server generator I haven´t a server myself.

I replaced the content of my complete EMG folder with the files of the new version of EMG and now the program works again. Dunno what went wrong there in the first place though.

Anyhow, I'm glad to get it back up running again ...

? Oups downloaded and installed versi EMG 81.1. Checked the right way for game folder and mission folder. Created a mission and it doesn't appear into game again...

You know what? How silly I'm. I was abolutely sure to own the Spit MK XIVe...and i didn't!!!!!!

I plaid many missions in Spit MK XIV which is obviously not the Spit MK XIV.....E!!!

I bought it a few minutes ago. 

I am sorry to make you loosing your time. My EMG works fine yet....with the right plane!

As far as I know in Easy Mission Generator the Waco is currently not included. It is a total new type of plane and I suppose it needs much time to integrate the Waco in Easy Mission Generator.
